Yeah, I just don't get it.

And the dude is a 5th round draft pick.

In no world isn't he a massive hit.

If he took another jump the end of this season and into next it would be huge for the last years of Rodgers in GB because we all know he’d have a hard time with a rookie WR next year even if it’s a high pick. And we likely can’t afford a good vet WR next year unless some big cuts occur. and our vet is probably funchess.

If he makes a big jump next year too he will probably price himself out of GB. So 2022 would be Adams and Lazard on new contracts at the top of the depth chart.

Nice win.  Fun to have MVS with a big day.  I liked MLF and Rodgers throwing the 3rd-down pass to Tonyan on the last drive to seal it.

Thought the passing game would have an easier time against Detroit's secondary.

Thought the 2-minute drill end of first half wasn't very good.

Stafford was really good, and completed some very difficult passes that were well covered, I thought.  For as good of a passer as he is, it's really a shame for his career legacy that he hasn't had better teams, and coaching too, around him.  When an opponent doesn't make any turnovers, and has a QB as dangerous as Stafford, it's hard to win really easily.

Do you guys really think Stafford won't be in Detroit next season? They save some money, but still eat a 25 million dollar cap hit.  It might be cool to see him take over for Brees or Brady, or even go to the Pats, but that is a pretty hefty price for the Lions, who are probably too good to get into the QB sweepstakes and don't have a replacement already in house.

Aren’t the Saints on the hook for a shot load of money with hill next season?

Yes, but it really isn't that bad IF Brees retires and they start Hill.  He only has a 16 million cap hit, which is 17th for QBs in 2021, and that ranking includes Brady and Brees, so it will go up, but for a starting QB, it would be around average.  So, it is very unlikely that Stafford lands there, but they are like eleventy billion over the cap already, so he wouldn't.  I was just looking at teams that will change QB next season, and are not likely to get a QBOTF in the draft.
