topwop1
It's possible but I'm pretty sure that all NFL Contracts whether front office, coaching or players have to be made public. So I'm sure we would have heard this before if it was true. What reason would Bears have to hide this?

CBears019
I had a thought deep in the back of my mind that the bears would do well down the stretch, keep pace/Nagy, and offer Tru a short extension and we start 2021 with the same team as we did 2020. I really, really hope I’m wrong, but this tweet doesn’t help. Id like to know more obviously. When was this extension signed? Who’s this source? And, as others have asked, why keep it a secret (if true)?
blkwdw13
This is what I have been thinking is going to happen. We’ll see going forward though.
topwop1
To be fair I always wondered why they didn't do this a while ago when Pace hired Nagy. Shouldn't the GM and HC always be on the same contract terms? Stupid to have their contracts expiring different years and no this is not an endorsement for Pace...it's just common sense. WindyCity
I think they mentioned this when they hired Nagy that they tagged a year on Pace. I am almost certain he is done after 2021. If his contract goes to 2022 then I have no words for George.
HuskieBear
I thought that he had signed a 1-year extension after the 2018 so that his contract ended at the same time as Nagy's, but i haven't seen/heard anything about it, so i could be making it up in my mind
CBears019
Looks like the tweet was made in error based on either bad information or a misinterpretation. I’m gonna lock this up unless some corroborating info comes out.
