We were 3 drops away from a blowout. Small execution things hit hard in the NFL. I'm not concerned whatsoever about the offense unless we insist on keeping Lucas Patrick matched up with guys of Derrick Brown's caliber.

Spot on!  Patrick and King both have had better games and really struggled last night.  Patrick was a turnstile and King couldn't do much of anything right.  Disappointing and alarming.

King's been wildly inconsistent this season, might drive the price down. Also, Patrick is far better at RG than LG.

Really?... He's been very active & productive the last three weeks. He's not gonna get any better than that.

He has been playing the way we hoped he would when we gave him that contract. He's shown up in the run game a lot of the time too, now if we can only find another guy not named Clark or Keke to show up against the run, MAYBE our run defense improves....and hopefully under a different DC...

Not considering they've now lost eight of ten games all by the average of one score....

Rhule had a good year. The same people that are hating on the packers are the same ones saying the chiefs dont have to play a full game to win. Not many games are blowouts in the NFL.

Patrick allowed one real sack. The second sack by Brown was the most obvious illegal hands to the face penalty that's ever been witnessed. Nobody's riding Turner for getting beat clean by Brown and creating Burns first sack.

Patrick is fine, but hopefully he goes back to the bench when Linsley comes back but for your 5th/6th guy, Patrick is a strong piece.

Agreed with Patrick, good 6th OL. Still can't see what our staff sees that him starting at RG is a better 5 than Wagner at RT. We haven't heard a peep from Wagner in the games he's played. Rock solid. Or is it that Turner is that much better at RT than he is RG?

Patrick is a fill in as a 5th or 6th guy who does ok ... he's adequate but certainly not fine.  The sooner he goes to a sub the better as he's a weak spot.

Most backups are  a "weak spot" relative to the starter.  Injuries creating the situation.

That wasn't the point ... totally understand that.  Was just saying that Patrick isn't anything special to begin with and the sooner we can get a starter back there the better.

Another example of how much Carolina was determined to take away the pass game. I don't know if I've ever seen backers bail on run fits to protect for the boot.

It isn't being highlighted, but watch Jenkins.  It's unreal how quickly he can stop and start for a big blocker.

I'm honestly not even sure if he's strategically bailing on the run fit or if Jenkins got up to him so quickly that he basically just said "F it" and bailed on the play.
