If Michel gets shipped out, then this team will end up spending money on a free agent RB or drafting one. I don't see how either is preferable to just keeping Michel, given the other holes that'll need to be filled.

Plus, if Michel has a good showing next year, then there's a good chance he'll get a good deal from someone in free agency, and the Pats will net a higher comp pick than what they would get if they trade him this offseason.

We're a mess. So many holes.

Two of them are so important though that if they're filled effectively, we automatically become an above .500 team IMO

That is QB and front 7. Quite possibly the 2 biggest issues you can have.

Spend draft picks on DL and ILBs, get a veteran QB to plug a hole (or vice versa - sell out to draft a QB, and add defensive pieces in FA). It will be so much better

Miami were without their top weapons, they averaged less than 4 YPC before this game...

over 6 a clip against us. There is no way this came as a surprise to the coaching staff, but we just don't have the horses. As a matter of urgency, we need to get grizzlier, bigger, nastier and better in the middle front of our D. And obviously hope Hightower is still Hightower.

IMO we need to upgrade LBs and add 1or 2 Fat Guys. Yesterday the LBs got destroyed. The line of Guy, Butler, and Cowart did fine but they needed help. Miami ran when we had our passing defense on the field. The only fat guy was Butler. Nice game plan by the Fins.

IMO so far. I haven't seen any that will help solve our problems.  I do like a couple but I'm not sure they will fit.

Nick Bolton ---  Size might be a issue.

Chazz Surratt --- Raw, EX- QB. Crazy Story, high QB recruit felt he wasn't good enough for NFL ask to change position. BB will love him.

I have yet to see any others that will fit with the Pats.
