drfrey13 Posted March 18, 2021 Share Posted March 18, 2021 So assuming Zay Jones gets the vet minimum, we cut Nassib, and trade/cut Mariota we currently have $10.6 million in cap space. Pretty sure both are gone at some point. Time for the coaches to earn their money because we are going to need the young guys to step up in order to maintain the level we had last year. JarrodR86 Posted March 18, 2021 Share Posted March 18, 2021 I’m not opposed to still going after JuJu or Golladay.. we could still have up to 32+ mil cap space if they trade/release Mariota, Nassib, Heath, Richard. Injuries happen, and if any combo of John Brown, Ruggs, Edwards go out for any extended period of time, just makes like tougher for the offense.. Signing one of the 2 above would still give us plenty of money to sign a vet CB and FS in the 5-7 mil range and the released players can be replaced with draft picks and vet minimum types.
