Our free agents, who do you bring back and for how much?

• Nick Morrow

• Jonathan Hankins

• Marcus Mariota

• Jalen Richard

• Quinton Jefferson

• KJ Wright

• Solomon Thomas

• Darius Philon

• Alec Ingold

• Zay Jones

Philon, Zay, Q, Hank for sure and similar money they are on now

Jalen R i am ambivalent on, vet minimum then sure thing.

Alec probably we would have to overpay and replaceable role (anyone really noticed him not playing?)

Solly T, Morrow, KJ don't add anything for me

Mariota will be stupidly expensive so no.

One interesting point of conversation, if the next coach doesn't really utilize a FB, could Ingold potentially be playing somewhere else?

Not to mention Ingold will be a RFA and ….

2022 Projected RFATenders

Type Amount ▾
First Round $5,562,000
Second Round $3,986,000
Right of First Refusal $2,433,000

https://overthecap.com/franchise-transition-and-rfa-tenders/

…. that’s a lot of money for a FB.  I believe the best case scenario to retaining Ingold is similar to what we did when LS Sieg was a RFA.  We weren’t about to pay him 2M+ for RoFR or 3M+ For a 2nd round tender so we extended him prior to making a tender.  If we want to keep Ingold that’s how we’d do it.  He’s probably worth 2.5M Max to as low As 1.75M given he’s coming off an major injury.

Morrow didn’t add anything cus he didn’t play…. At all.  He was on IR all year.

Soloman Thomas didn’t add anything?  I mean he wasn’t amazing but he was good.

For sure. FB's are a dying breed.

If it’s Harbaugh as the coach we will have a FB for sure.  And I’d put money on its Ingold or Ben Mason, whose father owes me a favor and will absolutely get hounded for free Raiders tickets.

Probably a better, cheaper alternative for Morrow.

I like Solly but basically all of our DT are free agents.

Solly was the worst of our DTs, he didn't play badly but i am assuming we are going to add at least one either draft or f.a so can't keep them all.

I've watched Morrow play before, he is a guy. If he comes back cheap, fine but he was never a difference maker.

I'd love Kyzir White but he may be too expensive for us since we're screwed with Littleton/Kwit's deals.

A FA wide receiver I'm surprised hasn't been brought up more is Russell Gage. He gets lost in the shuffle with the mid-tier names, but he may be the best of he bunch. He's small-ish, but is very quick, has very good burst, and has reliable hands. I think he has decent long speed, too.

Would be an amazing get. He's gonna cost $$$$$$$ though IMO.

I think he's a prime candidate for a 1 year prove it deal somewhere. He tore his Achilles in early November and was also suspended earlier in the season for a DUI. Think he'll go somewhere that he can ball out and try to earn a big deal rather than commit to a long term deal this offseason.

Russell Gage is a solid player for sure, he came on super strong at the end of the year.
