Seattle is just defending it. They may have shaken his confidence more by saying, "We believe in this kid, he doesn't have a short leash" to them saying "We had to make a change, he doesn't prepare well enough." I think if they were to throw quick slants, rub routes, take a couple play actions with wheel routes, then you can get some momentum.
