Was thinking the same thing.

Says we need a better rotational guy than Hubbard, imo.

why? Hubbard is your ideal rotational guy cause he can actually play  multiple positions. It is unrealistic to expect a back up to play at the level of Teller. Of course there will be drop off.

Hubbard has proved again how bad the prior coaching truly was the last few years. We saw him play well with the Steelers, who have always had a solid offensive line coach. Comes to the Browns and doesnt live up to his billing. Callahan comes to town, a guy widely regarded as the best OL coach in the league,  after Scarnecchia has retire, and now Hubbard is actually pretty serviceable. If the price is right, I wouldnt mind bring him back.If not, lets see what Forbes and Harris can do

No duh.

But not to expect the falloff to be lesser.

Draft Bitonio's eventual replacement and allow him to rotate while in waiting.

Teller when he is on the field, is prolly the best RG. So you want the back up to play at the same level? That is some pretty lofty exceptions, very unrealistic. Player is a back up for a reason, so their should be a fall off. This year tho, their has been a fall off but it hasnt been a killer tho like in years past

Draft a guy and have him rotate in? No reason for that at all. Bitonio is only 29. He is finally playing like a top tier guard. early in the season he wasnt. With his age, their isnt a need to replace him yet. If anything,I would take money away from the WRs and give it to the OL to make sure you can keep the Unit together.

You are the one who keeps saying that.

I am saying better than Hubbard.

But Hubbard hasn’t been bad at all. Hubbard has played just fine to be kept as the swing lineman. He has played fine as the back up guard and tackle.

you said you want a back up with less of a fall off. Which you said first! And I stated other wise

who is this amazing back up we can land that can do that. If your talking about it be easy to replace that, you must have someone in mind

but how would you know how Hubbard has played? Your listening to the game and those highlights don’t show or highlight the OL. When Hubbard has played he hasn’t been the issue for offensive issues

Dieken is not only good but ex-OL.

He calls out misses on OL, including Hubbard's when Teller was out.

Other commentators also have mentioned Hubbard as not exactly shining.

What sometimes got lost in the commentary is that when Teller was out, Chubb was too.
