He hits the market last year I'm sure someone would've gone long-term at 15. That way you can have him expire and replaced before Jaire's big money kicks in. That is probably a fair comparison. Ryan is a bit older and getting a 3rd contract vs King being younger and looking for his 2nd contract (first major one), so King might want a bit more and on the open market might be able to get it. Jaire’s 5th year price went up by almost 3mil after he made the pro bowl this year. We will have to have a plan to keep him and not deplete everything else. I'd be fine with a top pick there, or just that money on another guy. King is the guy you let walk after his 4 years here. He's been 1 for 4 during his time here. Thank him and let him walk.
