Thomas5737
With 11 sacks in 1993 and 8 more in 1995 and league leader in forced fumbles with 6 I think one DE/DT needs to be our former 3rd round pick Anthony Pleasant (uh huh). He was solid, then boomed in 2001 to a all pro birth after never sniffing the pro bowl

candyman93
Does Kevin Johnson (the WR) count or do we consider him good? Edited December 22, 2020 by candyman93

QBIso
Just now, Rod Johnson said: You might be thinking of David Bowens Yep. One of our linebackers that ran a 5.4 40 time. There were like 5 of them during the Mangini tenure.

I swear Mangini had like a 7 LB rotation with Bowens, Barton, Roth, Trusnik, Bernard, Wimbley all after Dqwell went down. That guy just loved LBs and playing unathletic smart guys. We had like 5 kick coverage specialists. Edited December 22, 2020 by Rod Johnson

LETSGOBROWNIES
Money Mitch and BBC for some more recent guys. Neither are/were great, but punched above their weight as far expectations imo.

dawgdish
Leigh Bodden was one of the biggest pleasant surprises - I remember back in the day Chad OchoCinco always giving him props. Another one, going back a ways, was Vinny Testeverde. He was atrocious in Tampa Bay and when we brought him in I thought it was going to be interceptapalooza, but he did a good gob at QB.
