Is it cool to have a PPV after my first four shows and then do every other month after that?

you can do a special show that you promote as a mini-PPV like AEW does with Winter is Coming and ****, but nah. Every 2 months the PPV cycle ends and a winner for that cycle will be determined, so it'd throw that off.

Okay, fair enough. I read it wrong at the beginning so I thought it was 4 shows and a PPV every month. I had the format all set for the first five shows that's why I asked. With 8 week builds I'll probably try and knock out six months to a year while my motivation is high the next few weeks.

I couldn't restart this because my whole strategy was to play on things going on at the time (Jan/Feb). So I'm just gonna post everything I had for the hell of it.

The Wrestling Elite (TWE) Episode 1

Corey Graves, Don Callis, and Tazz are on commentary. Ring announcer Justin Roberts and referee Mike Chioda stand in the ring.

Graves welcomes the audience to the first episode of TWE, the hottest new promotion in professional wrestling. He explains that the roster has not been announced publicly and that wrestlers have been kept separated from each other until the start of the show to make encounters more shocking and special for the talent.

Every match has a 30 minute time limit and every Main Event has a 60 minute time limit. With that said, before the show begins, we have to take a moment to acknowledge a tragic loss to the professional wrestling family. Rest in Peace Jon Huber. After ten seconds of silence, the show begins.

Battle Cry hits and out comes Kenny Omega. Don Callis raves that it could not be more apropo to start off a new promotion with the best wrestler in the world and a man who creates history everywhere he goes.

Kenny grabs the mic and confirms he’s here to do what he does and make history, nodding over to Callis. The wrestling world is in a weird state of flux right now but his goals have not changed. He has moved on from being the cleaner and he is now the collector. He has a now defunct AEW title belt, he has a now defunct AAA belt, and of course that’s no good to him. He wants more. More titles and more history making moments. Who knows, maybe it’s time to bring back the Bullet Club?

With that, the Styles Clash Theme hits and out comes AJ Styles. He basks in the moment for a bit before making his way to the ring and standing across from Omega.

Callis raves about the Dream Match potential of Omega/Styles. Tazz comments that this may not be a peaceful encounter as AJ was a former Bullet Club Leader. Graves mentions the last time these two shared a ring together things weren’t exactly civil.

Styles tells Omega that bringing back the Bullet Club is a great idea...so he can once again lead it. If Omega wants to fall in line, that’s fine, we’ll let bygones be bygones. However, he hasn’t forgotten about Omega’s actions that led to his departure from Japan. For Omega it’s either subservience or annihilation.

Before Kenny can respond, Catch your Breath hits and out comes Finn Balor. Commentary goes nuts about the three most influential leaders of Bullet Club being in the ring at the same time.

Balor chastises AJ and Kenny for running the group he created into the ground. AJ was more concerned with himself than being a true leader, and all Kenny cared about was his sub-faction, The Elite, which created a Civil War within the group. The group was at its best when he led it. Styles and Omega made the group go soft. With Balor it truly was BC 4 Life, not BC for AJ title shots, or BC for The Elite.

The three bicker back and forth about who the best leader was and who the leader should be. It starts to get physical when out walks Brandi Rhodes. She reveals that while she holds many roles, her most important one is GM of TWE. She says that there is only one way for this to get settled. In tonight’s Main Event, there will be a triple threat match. Kenny Omega vs. AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor.

(16 minutes)

Match: John Morrison vs. Rey Mysterio.

The story of the match is two high octane performers putting on a fast paced, and entertaining show to get the crowd invested in the action. Morrison goes for the Starship Pain which he whiffs on, Mysterio is able to get him onto the ropes and hits the 619 for the 3 count and the win.

(8 minutes)

A promo plays to hype tonight's Main Event of Omega vs. Styles vs. Balor.

The camera cuts to Seth Rollins backstage making his way to the ring. He’s mouthing off about The Monday Night Messiah arriving on and putting the Elite in TWE. That’s why he makes the big bucks. Will Ospreay comes into frame and says still talking about your bank account ehh? Just remember, anything you can do, I can do better. Rollins looks annoyed and leaves for the ring. In the background you see Finn Balor talking to someone but can’t make out who.

Match: Seth Rollins vs Shawn Spears w/Peyton Royce

Story of the match is a pissed off Seth Rollins taking out his frustration on Shawn Spears. Commentary comments on how big a deal it is to have Seth Rollins in TWE. Peyton interferes on multiple occasions when opportune to even the odds.  However, it’s not enough. Spears grabs a chair when Chioda is distracted but gets caught with an enziguri. He drops the chair. Chioda turns back around and before he can clear the chair from the ring Rollins hits the curbstomp on Spears on it for the win. Peyton looks disappointed in Shawn. Rollins taunts him after the match and she does nothing to intervene.

(9 minutes)

Jake Roberts appears on the titantron and a vignette plays. He’s in a fighting cage. Jake says that in this business it’s become increasingly difficult to find those who are real. Men who draw respect and fear from anyone who shares a ring with them are few and far between. There’s one man who perfectly embodies this. He’ll be arriving soon, and anyone who gets in his way will be crushed and thrown into the wind.

(3 minutes)

Match: The Hardy Boyz (Jeff & Matt Hardy) vs. The Kings of Wrestling (Cesaro & Chris Hero)

The story of the match is a clashing of multiple styles. The Hardy’s use their innovative and eccentric approach to battle KoW’s more technical and powerful style. It’s a back and forth battle between the two groups. The Hardy’s take advantage late and Matt sets up for the Twist of Fate on Cesaro. The setup is a bit slow and Hero cracks him in the face with a rolling elbow. Hero then goes to take out Jeff on the outside. Cesaro recovers and hits the gotch-style piledriver on Matt for the win. The commentary team talks about what an impressive bout that was and that the Kings of Wrestling lived up to their moniker.

(14 minutes)

Backstage Charly Caruso is interviewing Scarlett Bourdeaux. She says that she lost her way before TWE. She’s not someone who shows up to deliver bad news, she’s far more than that. If you want to be a star in this business you need to look like one and nobody looks like her. She’s the smokeshow for a reason and she’s here to show exactly that. She’s interrupted by Carmella who takes issue with this. Scarlett smirks and then slaps Carmella. They start attacking each other until they are separated by security. When security intervenes you see AJ Styles in the background conversing with someone but it’s another poor angle of who. Graves is raving about how awesome it was to see these two beautiful women go at it.

(5 minutes)

It’s announced that next week will be the in-ring debut for the legendary Ace of Wrestling Hiroshi Tanahashi.

Dolph Ziggler is in the ring awaiting his opponent. Unscripted Violence hits and a pissed off Jon Moxley makes his way through the crowd to the ring.

Match: Jon Moxley vs. Dolph Ziggler

The story of the match is Jon Moxley destroying Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler is selling everything to look as devastating as possible. Moxley hits the paradigm shift for the win. He holds his hand out for a mic. As he gets one, Roman Reigns makes his way down the ramp. Roman enters the ring. They stare each other down. After a few moments, Reigns smiles and walks over to Mox to share an embrace. They do and Reigns holds Jon’s hand up high as the victor of the match.

Reigns holds his fist out in front and looks at Mox to join in. Mox hesitates and looks at Roman. After some urging from Reigns, Mox relents and sticks his fist out in front as well. The two get hyped up inside the ring. They go for another embrace when Reigns suddenly hits the paradigm shift on Moxley. He relentlessly attacks him in the ring with his fists and violently tosses him out of the ring. Then Roman tosses Mox into the barricade.

He starts peeling off the padding on the ground and exposes the concrete surrounding the ring. He looks at Mox, disgusted, and yells you know what this is. You know exactly what this is. He carries his prey over to the concrete where he plants with him with another paradigm shift. Mox is out cold laying in a pool of his own blood. Reigns exits through the crowd.

(10 minutes)

It cuts to Reigns walking through the back towards the exit. You see a few of the wrestlers who have already been in action tonight, as well as others like Ricochet, Velveteen Dream, Orange Cassidy, Liv Morgan, Allie, Sheamus, Joey Ryan, and Gallows & Anderson. While he walks back Lexy Nair tries to get a comment. He ignores her questions until he reaches the exit. Once there he stops, looks at her, looks off screen, and back to her. The Uso’s enter the shot and all three glare at her. She slowly backs away and they leave the arena in a luxury vehicle.

The announce team are in shock at the violent display that took place. Graves calls it a disgusting act while Callis/Tazz are stuck in between bewilderment and being impressed.

(5 minutes)

Shawn Spears is getting looked at by doctors. He’s frustrated with his loss and venting while looking down. While he’s ranting, Peyton gets up and leaves. When Spears finishes he looks up and notices she’s gone. His eyes grow wide and he puts his hand over his face.

(3 minutes)

Match: Rich Swann vs. Ricochet

Story of the match is another fast paced show between two of the most athletically gifted wrestlers out there. The battle is highlighted by a plethora of top rope maneuvers. Throughout the match it is constantly pointed out by the commentary team that Rich Swann was in fact a world champion before coming to TWE. Ricochet goes for a 630 senton only to be countered by Swann’s knees, and Swann hits a Phoenix Splash for the W. He makes a gesture around his waist with his hands. Callis says that Swann was one hell of a champion in TNA and there is no reason why he can’t be a champion here too.

(11 minutes)

Commentary has a few announcements to make. Callis announces next week will have a Champions Summit to determine who competes for the first ever TWE Championship. Graves announces a women’s tournament to crown the first ever Queen of TWE. Lastly, Tazz says that there will be another title but explains little about it. All he says is that you have to be a real badass to compete and he personally will scout the men he finds most deserving for it.

(4 minutes)

Main Event match: Kenny Omega vs. AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor (Triple Threat)

The story of this match is these three men all want to prove that they are the most qualified to lead the Bullet Club. They all wrestle in a similar style so that leads to a series of these men trying to one-up each other every step of the way. As time passes it becomes increasingly clear that all three of these men are evenly matched.

Balor takes advantage late and lands a Coup De Grace onto Styles for a nearfall. He spots Omega entering the ring but gets caught in the setup for a snap dragon suplex, which he breaks out of and hits the pele kick, stunning Omega. He then hits his shotgun dropkick shooting Omega into the corner. He runs over to get set up on the top rope only for Styles to rush to him and push off to the outside where Balor takes a big spill.

Styles exits the ring to set up the phenomenal forearm to the staggered Omega. He goes for it but gets caught with V-Trigger. Omega picks him up and sets him up for the snap dragon, only for Styles to break that, and attempt a pele kick of his own. This time Omega evades by backing up. He gains some momentum and lands a clean V-Trigger to the back of Styles’ head. He picks him up for the One Winged Angel and plants him. The refs count hits 3, and Kenny Omega is the winner.

(27 minutes)

Kenny celebrates in the ring as Balor and Styles recover. Eventually they make their way back to their feet. All three men stand in the center of the ring. The Bullet Club Theme hits and Gallows & Anderson come to the ring. Omega is giddy that his pals have come out. Gallows & Anderson look each of the three former leaders up and down. They look at each other and nod before Anderson attacks Styles and Gallows attacks Omega. Finn joins in and the beat down continues. Omega and Styles are promptly tossed out of the ring. Anderson pulls out BC armbands. He, Gallows and Balor place them on, hit the 2 sweet sign and the show fades to black.

The Wrestling Elite (TWE) Episode 2

A video recaps last week’s Main Event, and Roman Reigns brutal assault on Jon Moxley.

The camera cuts to Corey Graves, Tazz, and Don Callis on commentary. Graves says that Moxley is not medically cleared and will not be on the show tonight. However, it’s going to be a great show with the debut of Hiroshi Tanahashi and another former world champion. Callis brings the attention back to Gallows & Anderson attacking Omega and calling it a despicable act. Tazz wants to know what’s next for the newly reformed Bullet Club.

(3 minutes)

Match: Will Ospreay vs. Kushida

The story of this match is Ospreay putting on a wrestling clinic to show he’s as good as Seth Rollins, if not better. He and Kushida go back and forth in an exciting, competitive, and fast paced match that ends with Ospreay hitting the storm breaker for the win.

(14 minutes)

After the match it cuts to Seth Rollins watching from the back. He stares intently at the screen as Ospreay celebrates. A hand pats Rollins on the back and says “You’re looking at him when you should be worried about me. We have our own unfinished business,” Rollins looks over his shoulder and sees Edge. Edge tells him he’ll see him in the ring real soon, as he moves his hand from Seth’s shoulder to his neck.

Graves brings up Seth Rollins threatening to paralyze Edge back in The Authority days. Tazz says it’s huge to have the Rated R Superstar here in TWE.

(3 minutes)

Tournament Match: Scarlett Bordeaux vs. Liv Morgan

Scarlett makes a big show out of her entrance to excite the crowd. She flaunts her stuff at every opportunity and slowly makes her way to the ring. Liv mockingly does the exact same entrance on her way down. While Liv is playing to the crowd Scarlett rushes her and cheap shots her from behind. She throws her into the barricade and stomps on her. She drags Liv’s body into the ring. The bell rings and Liv starts to come to her senses. As she begins to get up, Scarlett slaps her in the face and lifts her for a DDT. She goes for the cover and gets the win.

(6 minutes)

The camera cuts to outside the women’s locker room where a commotion can be heard inside. The door opens and you can see Anna Jay and Carmella getting in each other’s face. Graves says it doesn’t look like Carmella is making many friends here in TWE.

(2 minutes)

Match: Shawn Spears vs. Rush

Spears comes to the ring looking confused and Peyton isn’t with him. Then Rush comes out to the ring. Callis raves that Rush was Ring of Honor’s World Champion and a hell of a talent. Spears’ indecisiveness is his downfall early and Rush takes advantage for an easy victory.

(6 minutes)

A video plays to hype tonight’s Champions Summit

Shawn Spears is backstage looking around and finds Peyton Royce talking to some of the guys in the back. He asks her what’s going on, why weren’t you out there for my match? She says she was busy preparing for her own match tonight. He says that’s not really how it looks but he’ll support her and come out for her match tonight.

(3 minutes)

Match: Uso’s vs. Street Profits

This match is a clash of personalities with the charismatic and enthusiastic Street Profits facing off against the dead serious Uso’s. It’s a back and forth match between two talented tag teams. Eventually the physical nature of the Uso’s wears down the Street Profits and they get the victory. Callis says that between these two and Roman Reigns we may be looking at the toughest group in professional wrestling.

(12 minutes)

Match: Samoa Joe vs Sheamus

This match is a total slugfest. Joe and Sheamus attempt to show who the tougher and more physical combatant is. It’s a hard hitting match that goes back and forth. Tazz keeps commenting on how he loves the physicality of the match. Eventually Sheamus gets an opening and goes for the Brogue Kick, which Joe catches and turns into Uranage and goes for the cover. Sheamus kicks out at 2.75. Joe brings him up but gets tossed into the ring post. Sheamus charges but Joe is able to evade and Sheamus hits the turnbuckle. He hits an enziguri and then uses the ropes to get Sheamus into position for the Muscle Buster. He hits it, goes for the cover and gets the 3 count for the win.

Tazz comes from commentary to the ring and says that he’s remarkably impressed with Samoa Joe. He will be one of the men competing for the new title he’s been working on, the NEVER Championship. All we need to know about it right now is that this champion will never be safe.

(15 minutes)

Tournament Match: Peyton Royce w/ Shawn Spears vs. Allie

The story of the match is that between two equals trying to gain every advantage they can, with Spears trying to help Royce when he can. Late in the match, Spears looks to toss a chair in the ring for Royce only to get caught and thus distracting the ref which Allie takes advantage of and goes for a rollup. Royce kicks out at 2.9. Peyton throws Spears under the bus to the ref by pretending he’s grabbing another chair and uses this to poke Allie’s eyes and hit the spinning brainbuster for the win. Commentary takes shots at Spears for a near catastrophic mistake that could’ve cost his wife the match.

Royce glares at Spears after the match and leaves the ring on side furthest from him walking to the back through a different exit. Spears stands there for a bit before chasing after her.

(9 minutes)

Brandi Rhodes and Charly Caruso are in the ring with Justin Roberts. Six podiums are set up across the ring. Roberts announces that this is the Champions Summit. Omega’s theme hits and Kenny Omega comes to the ring carrying the AEW and AAA championships. Rich Swann’s theme hits and he comes down with the Impact championship. Omega is openly mocking Swann as he enters the ring and Swann shrugs it off. Rush comes out again with the ROH Championship. Balor’s theme hits and Omega tenses up. Balor, carrying the NXT championship, picks the podium furthest from Omega. Jacob Fatu’s theme hits and he comes out with MLW Championship. Lastly, Roman Reign’s theme hits and he goes to the final podium with the Universal championship.

Brandi says that it should be obvious why they are here. These were the only six men who came into this promotion with world championships and for that they should be rewarded. In two weeks the first ever TWE Champion will be crowned on a special episode coined TWE Coronation. These six men will compete to become the first TWE Champion in an elimination six man match. They will open it up to the floor and Charly will ask them a few questions about where they are at heading into the match as she sees fit.

Swann begins to speak but is cut off by Omega. Omega says that this couldn’t be more perfect. Everything he’s done in TWE has been historic. When he gets in the ring with these other five men the story will tell itself and Omega will reign supreme. Reigns rolls his eyes. Omega then looks over at Balor and says he’ll take particular pleasure in beating him, again, and crushing his little reunion tour before it gets off the ground.

Balor says that’s funny because he doesn’t remember getting pinned last week, all he remembers is standing tall to end the show with this as he flashes his BC armband. The Bullet Club is back and it’s coming for anyone that gets in his way.

Charly Caruso interjects and asks Rich Swann his thoughts. He says it’s clear that between he and Rush, they are the underdogs here, looking at Omega who can’t keep a straight face, but a world champion is a world champion. You can’t take him lightly or he’s going to become one again. Rush says he has no interest in being labeled anything, he’s just here to win.

Caruso then asks Reigns about his brutal attack on Moxley last week and whether that may play a role in this match. Reigns says no comment. Omega jumps in, asking him really, no comment at all, without writers you can’t come up with anything?, speak your mind big dog. Reigns ignores Omega and says that he had the most important belt in wrestling and in a few weeks he will again. That’s all that matters.

Jacob Fatu retorts that he’s been a champion for over 500 days. You can brag about the three letters in front of the company you used to work for all you want but his dominance is undeniable. No one else in this ring has been as dominant a champion as him.

Caruso asks Balor about the perceived advantage of having Gallows & Anderson behind him and whether or not they will get involved. He smirks and says they’ll do what’s right. That’s what happens when you have a real leader. Omega chimes in and says a real leader? It’s funny he says that because all he sees across the ring is a real *****.

Balor pushes the podium to the side and Omega does the same. They get in each other's face. Swann tries to get in between but gets smacked in the face by Omega. Balor strikes Omega and a brawl ensues between the three. Rush joins in and things starting getting out of hand. Fatu hangs back in the corner and watches it all go down. As this is happening Reigns starts to leave the ring. Omega throws a mic at his back and calls him a coward. Reigns rushes back in the ring and spears Omega. Then he follows it up by spearing Swann and Rush.

He looks at Balor and nods at him to grab his NXT championship and clink his Universal championship. Balor slowly does, and Reigns fakes like he’s going to leave but then turns around and spears him too. Jacob Fatu walks right up to him and looks Reigns up and down. Reigns exits the ring slowly. Fatu raises the MLW championship high.

(19 minutes)

In the back, Omega has an ice pack on his head and says he’s sick of taking these unnecessary beatings. He’s going to need to get some help of his own.

(3 minutes)

Graves announces that Jon Moxley will be back next week and that he will have an open mic.

Main Event Match: Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Rey Mysterio

Mysterio goes through his entrance and Tanahashi’s theme hits. The crowd goes wild for the Ace and he stands and basks in the moment of it all. He makes his way to the ring and shakes Mysterio’s hand prior to the match.

The match highlights the best part of why each of the veterans are legends of their craft. Mysterio’s lucha background against Tanahashi’s japanese style. Commentary raves about the influence these two have had on pro wrestling and the legacies they have. It’s a back and forth contest where they each get all of their classic spots in. Deep in the match after multiple attempts had been thwarted, Mysterio is able to get Tanahashi on the ropes. He’s able to connect with 619 and goes for his follow up dive only to be countered by knees from Tanahashi. He’s able to connect with the sling blade Rey and hit the High Fly Flow. Rey can’t kick out and Tanahashi wins his debut.

The Wrestling Elite (TWE) Episode 3

A video recaps the confrontation from last week’s Champion’s Summit.

The camera cuts to Corey Graves, Tazz, and Don Callis on commentary. Callis calls out Roman Reigns for spearing Omega and says the man needs some help if the Bullet Club and Reigns are going to gang up on him when they have the numbers game. Tazz says Reigns is going to be busy with someone else because Jon Moxley is back tonight and he has an open mic. Graves can’t wait for what’s in store tonight and what surprises we may see.

The Bullet Club theme hits and out comes Finn Balor with Gallows & Anderson. He says that he and Kenny Omega have some unfinished business and tonight is a great time to settle the score before the big title match next week at Coronation. He and the Bullet Club want Kenny and anyone he can find to fight with him in the Main Event tonight. He pauses before saying…if he can find anyone. They laugh walk off.

(5 minutes)

It’s announced that tonight’s Main Event will feature the Bullet Club in action against Kenny Omega and two teammates that he can pick at his leisure.

Match: Jacob Fatu vs Jinder Mahal

The story of this match is the dominance of Jacob Fatu. Despite the impressive physique of Jinder Mahal he simply can’t handle the physical nature of Fatu. There is a little bit of back and forth but Mahal gets worn down and put away. Fatu picks up a strong win.

(7 minutes)

Tazz comes from the announce table after the match. He says he’s the exact type of a guy he’s looking for to compete for the NEVER championship. Fatu eyes him up and down. Tazz says regardless of how the TWE Title match goes next week, he would love for him to compete for his new title. Fatu shrugs and walks off.

(3 minutes)

Will Ospreay is sitting in catering when Edge approaches him. He says he understands Ospreay share some online beef but he and Rollins have something a lot more personal to settle. Rollins had threatened to paralyze him years ago. He’s done waiting to settle the score between the two. Once I beat him, he’s all yours, Edge says.

Ospreay tells Edge, I’ll tell you what, let’s settle it in the ring next week and the winner gets Rollins. Edge grins. You want it? You got it. Cya in the ring kid.

(4 minutes)

Tournament Match: Carmella vs Anna Jay

This match falls apart into a straight fight really quickly. The aggression clearly stems from their confrontation last week. Carmella and Anna Jay wail on each other from the get go. Anna Jay takes advantage and starts playing to the crowd. Carmella pulls a quick roll up from behind and gets the W. Commentary points out that Anna Jay has tremendous talent but that was a rookie mistake. Carmella advances in the tournament.

(7 minutes)

Kenny Omega is in the back asking around for competitors to join him tonight.

Match: Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander vs. The Varsity Blondes

This is a competitive match between some great athletic talents. There are moments where The Varsity Blondes take control and rally but for the most part Shelton & Cedric are in control. Cedric pins Garrison for the win.

(8 minutes)

The lights in the ring go out. When they come back on Jake the Snake is sitting in the ring with a mic. He tells a story about the territory days and the toll it took on him and the boys. He says that there are very few men who could go through that today because the industry has softened. However, he’s found a man who’s as tough as they come. A man who is undeniably legitimate. He’ll be arriving soon and when he does you better pray you’re not in his way.

(6 minutes)

Match: AJ Styles vs Dolph Ziggler

AJ Styles come to the ring looking without much of an expression. Ziggler is in the ring looking determined. Ziggler plays the aggressor and takes advantage early. Every time AJ looks to gain momentum, Ziggler promptly reverses one of Styles signature moves.

Styles grows increasing frustrated as the match progresses. Try as he might Styles can’t seem to get into a rhythm. Finally it looks as though he may have an opportunity to land a phenomenal forearm but instead gets drilled by a superkick. Ziggler goes for the cover. At 2.9 Styles manages to kick out. Ziggler goes for another cover but Styles is escape to kick out again.

Ziggler backs off as Styles slowly gets to his feet. Ziggler goes for the fameasser only for Styles to reverse and maneuver into the calf killer. Ziggler desperately crawls towards the ropes but Styles is able to pull him back to the center of the ring and force Ziggler to tap. AJ walks off clearly unhappy with his inability to get on track.

(17 minutes)

AJ is walking through the back when Kenny approaches. Kenny pitches them teaming up tonight and AJ is having none of it. He ignores Omega and walks off. Kenny looks slightly panicked when Chase Owens walks on screen and says he’ll team with Kenny tonight. They’ll just need to find one more partner.

(4 minutes)

Back in the ring, Moxley’s theme hits. Commentary says they can’t wait to hear what Mox has to say. He makes his way to the ring from the crowd in intense fashion. He quickly grabs a mic. He says it’s funny that despite how much things change that over time it always ends up being the same. No matter what he does he can’t escape his past. He can’t escape The Shield.

He went to another company and brought them into the limelight, he became a dominant champion, he completely disassociated himself from everything he was and everyone he was with. Yet at the first opportunity presented, Reigns had to bring it all back. He can’t help but wonder why.

Is it jealousy? Jealousy that he was part of a dying show while Mox stood tall upon the shiny new toy? Is it because he craves familiarity in this new environment and the only way he knows how to do that is by relying on his Shield brethren? Or is it revenge? Vengeance over the fact that he never had a chance to confront Mox for his actions on that night in October 2018? He went after him in that exact same manor. At the end of the day, to Mox it doesn’t matter the reason why. All that matters is what’s going to happen next.

Jon Moxley is not Dean Ambrose. Jon Moxley is not a joke. Jon Moxley won’t stand back and take a beating. He won’t retaliate with ketchup and mustard, he’’ use crowbars and brass knuckles. This won’t end until he gets retribution with interest. If Roman Reigns wants to make the most dangerous man in pro wrestling his enemy…so be it. Be aware that while he lay in a pool of his own blood a few weeks ago all he could think about were the sick and twisted ways he was going to retaliate…and he will retaliate, sooner than later. Roman Reigns, you’ve made Jon Moxley your enemy, and now you’re a dead man.

(10 minutes)

Commentary can’t help but speculate onto what Mox is going to do to Reigns in retaliation. Tazz says he can’t wait to see what that sadistic mind of Mox has in store for us.

(2 minutes)

Tournament Match: Mandy Leon vs. ???

Mandy Leon is sitting in the ring waiting for her opponent to come out. The lights go off and then turn back on and the arena is all red. Eva Marie’s music hits and she makes her surprise return to wrestling. She takes her time getting to the ring to soak in her return.

The match starts off an Eva pulls out a few new moves she didn’t have in her arsenal before. She takes early command of Mandy and is all hyped up. Mandy weathers the initial onslaught and slows the pace down. She methodically works Eva over and takes control of the match.

You can see Eva’s confidence wane as the match moves forward. Mandy gains complete control and starts dominating Eva. Mandy goes for some covers and Eva escapes for several nearfalls. The match has completely gotten away from her at this point. Mandy has her trapped in the corner and Eva gauges at her eyes with Mandy’s body blocking the refs view. She goes for a quick roll up and gets the pin. She immediately darts of the ring while Mandy lays in the ring in agony.

(14 minutes)

Lexy Nair approaches Seth Rollins and asks him what he thinks about Will Ospreay and Edge. Seth tells Lexy that he’s a changed man and that they need to get over things that happened years ago. He’s more than happy to face whoever wins at their match next week at Coronation. They just need to realize what they are getting themselves into.

(4 minutes)

Omega is now desperate because the Main Event is next. He walks into Brandi Rhodes’ office. He pleads with Brandi to help him find one last partner. Brandi says it’s his own fault he can’t get people to fight with him. If he has to fight 2 on 3 tonight, he can only blame himself. Omega look incredulous from Brandi’s words and storms off.

(3 minutes)

Match: Kenny Omega/Flip Gordon vs. Bullet Club

Kenny and Flip take the ring and it becomes clear that they don’t have a third partner tonight. However, they do start off hot and take advantage early in the match led by Omega. As the match continues, the teamwork of Bullet Club begins to show, as well as they advantage of having a third man.

Owens gets worked pretty hard for a good portion of the match. When he’s able to bring Kenny in there is a quick spurt of offense before Bullet Club regains the momentum. Kenny sees the writing on the wall and tags the exhausted Owens in. Owens wasn’t reaching for a tag and looks surprised. He goes in and is promptly defeated by Balor.

(11 minutes)

Kenny attempts to walk off but is jumped by the entire Bullet Club again. They beat him down for a bit and then Anderson grabs a bottle of spraypaint from under the ring and hands it to Balor. Balor sprays “4 Life” on Omega’s back then 2 Sweet’s his teammates before the show closes.

The Wrestling Elite (TWE) Episode 4 *Coronation*

A video recaps the Main Event from last week with Kenny Omega getting attacked and spray painted by the Bullet Club. Some of Moxley’s promo is recapped as well. Commentary says this is going to be a star studded edition of TWE. Hiroshi Tanahashi will face off with Richochet, Edge and Will Ospreay will duke it out to see who gets to face Seth Rollin. The women’s tournament will continue and lastly six world champions will face off in an elimination match to determine the inaugural TWE Champion. With that said, let’s kick things off with the Ace himself.

(3 minutes)

Match: Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Richochet

This match is a fun, energetic opener that highlights Tanahashi’s storytelling ability as well as Richochet’s athletic prowess. Each guy gets their signature spots in. Tanahashi proves too much for Richochet though and picks up the win with the High Fly Flow. The two men shakes hands after the match and Richochet heads to the back.

(12 minutes)

Tanahashi stands in the ring, when all of a sudden familiar theme music hits. Daniel Bryan walks out and makes his way to the ring. He grabs a mic and stands across the ring from Tanahashi with a grin on his face. Tanahashi looks slightly confused but that quickly turns into a look of confidence.

Bryan says that he wasn’t sure how he wanted to proceed here in TWE. As everyone knows he’s a wrestling purist and with such a different roster, the amount of fresh matchups were very exciting. None compared to that of Tanahashi though. That’s a match that not only the fans have dreamed of but he has as well. At the first PPV event in a few weeks, he wants to see if the Ace is better than the best in the world. Tanahashi looks Daniel over and says he happily accepts.

(5 minutes)

Tournament Match: Eva Marie vs Peyton Royce w/Shawn Spears

Like in her prior match, Eva shows off a few new moves in the opening sequence and wins the early moments of the match. As the match slows Eva begins to struggle again and Peyton is able to use her superior ring IQ to keep Eva from gaining momentum. A few minutes in Eva backs out of the ring to catch her breath and Spears is in close proximity. Chioda orders Spears to back off.

Peyton regains control for a bit before it Eva takes another breather and it happens again. The match moves to the outside of the ring. Peyton is getting ready to set up her finisher on Eva but Eva initiates contact with Spears and immediately complains about interference. The ref had a bad angle and tosses Spears from the match. Peyton starts to complain about the decision when Eva throws her into the ringsteps and slams her head against them repeatedly. The refs starting counting from the ring. Eva doesn’t stop until the count hits 9 where she hurries back into the ring to win by countout. Eva celebrates and Peyton looks absolutely livid.

(7 minutes)

In the back Spears is waiting for Royce. A few wrestlers pass by him and mock him for being a loser and laughing as they walk away. Peyton finally makes her way backstage and asks her how she’s doing. She glares at him and says she’s fine. He reaches to embrace her but she walks into the women’s locker room.

Eva walks by. Shawn calls her out for getting him thrown out. She says that she did what she had to do to win, that’s all. She says Spears doesn’t deserve the abuse Peyton has been showing him lately. Win or lose, you shouldn’t treat your husband that way. I never would. Then she smiles and walks away.

(4 minutes)

Match: Bobby Lashley vs. Joey Ryan

Bobby Lashley comes out and Tazz says this looks like another man worthy of fighting for his NEVER championship. Lashley punishes Ryan incessantly and squashes him for an easy win.

(5 minutes)

Lashley grabs a mic and says he wants to know if there is anyone real left out there. The lights go out and Jake the Snake appears on the titantron. He laughs and says be careful what you wish for.

Kaze Ni Nare hits and Minoru Suzuki arrives in TWE. He makes his signature confident strut to the ring and tosses off his entrance gear. He looks Lashley in the eye and then drills him the face. The two brawl until Suzuki puts him away with a gotch-style piledriver. Tazz is losing his mind on commentary.

(4 minutes)

Match: Edge vs Will Ospreay

This match starts off very much the same as Edge vs. John Morrison. Ospreay’s athleticism and stamina allow him to take control early. Edge works through some more ring rust but can’t seem to gain lasting momentum. He starts working Ospreay’s legs to ground him and slow him down. The strategy pays off and the match gets more methodical favoring Edge. Each man gets a few nearfalls.

Edge sets up a spear only for Ospreay to leap over it while Edge crashes into the ring post. Ospreay quickly sets up for the Storm Breaker but his stumbles a bit from the punishment he legs have taken. This allows Edge to escape the move and hit the Edge O-Matic. He follows this up with the Edgeacution and goes for the cover. Ospreay manages it kick out at 2.5.

Ospreay groggily gets up and works his way towards the ropes while Edge sets up for the spear. Edge spears and Ospreay and goes for the cover only for Ospreay to get his foot on the ropes and break the count. Edge continues to work Ospreay’s legs. He throws him into the ropes irish whip style only for Ospreay to pull out the Oscutter. Before he can make the cover, Edge manages to roll out of the ring.

Ospreay lets Edge lay outside the ring and the count begins. Up until five there is minimal movement from Edge, at six he starts stirring, he tries gathering himself at seven, and stumbles a bit at eight. He looks a little dazed as the count hits nine but manages to dive in right before the ten count. Ospreay sets up another Oscutter in motion and propels himself off the ropes back into Edge. Edge dodges and gains momentum coming across the ring and propelling himself of the ropes Ospreay did. Ospreay rolls onto his feet only to eat a spear from Edge. Edge gets hit the 3 count and the win.

(22 minutes)

Edge raises his hand high while grimacing in pain. He looks to check on Ospreay and helps him up. He’s extends his hand out to get shaken but Seth Rollins runs to the ring from the crowd and decks both of them. He hits a curbstomp on Ospreay, and then one of Edge. He spits on Edge’s back and mocks the crowd before making his exit.

(4 minutes)

Commentary speaks on what happened and can’t wait to see these men clash going forward. It looks like Edge and Seth Rollins will be coming first. Graves brings up the arrival of Daniel Bryan, to which Tazz counters that Minoru Suzuki may be an even bigger debut. Callis says he can’t wait for the show to close with Omega winning the title because he’s the best the industry has ever seen. It’s announced that the first ever PPV will take place a little over four weeks from now. It will be called Explicit Violence.

6 Man Elimination Match: Swann vs Balor vs Reigns vs Omega vs Rush vs Fatu

Each man makes their entrance with their former employers’ title. As the bell rings, the other five competitors all start wailing on Omega and toss him out of the ring. Swann jumps out of the ring to go after him further. Balor goes after Reigns, which leaves Fatu and Rush to battle each other.

Minutes go by and opponents swap around. Omega hasn’t been able to gain any momentum thus far. Any time he has room to breathe someone else attacks him. Shortly after the ten minute marker goes by Swann is able to hit a spin kick on Rush and get the first elimination of the match. He glares down at Omega on the outside. He turns around to take a vicious spear from Reigns and gets eliminated himself.

This leaves Fatu and Reigns in the ring together for the first time. They look each other over from opposite sides of the ring. They slowly meet in the center and get in each other’s face. Then they each strike and an old fashioned duel in the middle of the ring ensues. Each man lands stiff shot after stiff shot and punishes their opponent.

Fatu briefly takes advantage and manages to toss Reigns out of the ring. More controlled demolition takes place over the next few minutes and each competitor is exhausted. The twenty minute mark of the match hits.

Fatu and Reigns get into it again but this time Balor joins in on the fight and hits a slingblade on Fatu. He rolls out of the ring and into a vicious V Trigger from Omega he pushes him back into the ring. Staggered, He walks into a spear from Reigns. Balor goes up top and his a Coup De Grace and on Fatu and covers. Fatu motions as though he’ll kick out but doesn’t manage to do it before the 3 count and is eliminated.

Omega finally makes his way into the ring over twenty minutes into the match. A triangle is formed with Balor, Reigns and Omega, the final three men, opposing in the ring. They brawl a bit and Balor is tossed out. Reigns and Omega go back and forth with their signature spots and Reigns takes control. He hits a Superman punch on Omega and backs into the corner to set up a spear. Jon Moxley dashes in from the crowd and starts beating Reigns down with a crowbar.

He tosses Reigns out of the ring and punishing him. He tosses him into the steps, the barricade, and delivers more brutal crowbar shots. Reigns manages to strike Mox in the face but Mox retaliates with brass knuckles to Roman’s. Mox continues to battle Roman further and further away from the ring. Dragging him through the crowd and to the back. Once there he pulls out a bag and opens it up on the floor leading to thousands of tacks falling out. He lifts Roman and plants him with the Paradigm shift into the tacks. Reigns lay motionless while blood pools from his head. Security jumps Mox and cuffs him while doctors surround Reigns and begin the process of escorting him from the building.

Back in the ring, Omega stands in shock, but also in relief and realizes the good fortune of the situation. Balor comes back into the ring. They are the final two competitors. The two men are exhausted but fight through the pain to battle each other further. The thirty minute mark passes. The men go back and forth. Neither man gives an inch. The forty minute mark passes. Omega sees an opening and unloads a V Trigger to Balor’s skull. He grabs Balor and brings him to the corner. He raises Balor onto his shoulders and climbs the top rope. Omega hits Croyt’s Wrath from the top rope. Instead of going for the cover, he puts Balor into position for the One Winged Angel and hits it. Omega goes for the cover. Balor can’t kick out. Kenny Omega is the first TWE Champion.

(44 minutes)

The ref brings each belt to the ring and hands them to Kenny on his knees. He’s draped with the ROH, AAA, Impact, MLW, NXT, AEW, and WWE Championships and holds them high. Then the sound of a coin flipping hits. A familiar face to Kenny appears on the ramp. Kazuchika Okada stands atop the ramp smirking. Omega is in utter disbelief. Okada points at Omega and the shows closes with a TWE graphic across the screen.
