This team is not looking good after Williams and Dupree went down.

R.Fitchner is awful (always has been). We've had enough of him, just to suit Ben.
And speaking of Ben. Awful today. Bad last week.

This team needs some generational turnover in key spots if we're
going to avoid a real drop off that lasts for a while.

I'd be looking really hard at everyone not named Watt, Heyward, DeCastro, FItz, Tuitt, Nelson and Claypool.

Tell Ben retire or be traded

take fichner with you

trade for Stafford

get new OL coach

Trade DJ if you can get value

Tomlin needs control of the team not colbert and ben because their way really got the team into a corner.  If the browns never released Haden and if the dolphins never traded for Mnkah, it would be rough but relying on colbert's draft team. Maybe hire Riddick for GM, he already has said in on the air what the problem is xD

Man, you're really delusional.

You want to get rid of Ben and acquire joke Stafford, lol.  Ben's far from being the problem.

The biggest joke here is that you want to keep Tomlin and get rid of Kevin Colbert.

Are you kidding me?

It should be the other way around.

Tomlin needed to be fired years ago, and we wouldn't have all the talent we have (especially on the defense) if it wasn't for Kevin Colbert.

You lose Colbert, you lose the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He drafted Heyward, Watt, Claypool, Pouncey, DeCastro, etc.

Like, what the hell are you smoking?

hood, sweed, jarvis, burns ok we all know the draft is hit  and then miss some. Colbert HAD to make the MInkah trade because of his failed drafting. Tomlin needs some blame, but he can only coach the roster he is given. Was it tomlinson idea to sign ben to that new deal despite ben whining about retiring ? I doubt it.

If they fire tomlin and keep ben, how would that possibly change anything on offence, I mean anything?  Fichner was picked  by ben, and this is what we got.  Remove both of them and start over from OC and QB, but keep most of the players although some will move on .

the bold above is contradiction what many in the media including former players are saying.

Smoke free  over here, thanks for asking B|

Fichtner was picked by Ben because the Rooneys aren't going to take anybody from the outside.  So, that's definitely more of the ownership really making the decision for Ben.

That's what they do.  Instead of finding a legit replacement for **** Lebeau around the league, they just promote num-nut Keith Butler (and again, we wouldn't have that defense if it wasn't for Colbert drafting those guys).

Yeah, and you're not always going to strike gold in the draft. That goes for any team in the league.

But, Colbert's done a damn good job at making superstars out of multiple picks from his all time career draft class.

Tomlin is the biggest loser in the room because he can't motivate the players, and Ben's thrown in a position where he feels like he needs to.

The only problem Ben's ever had is his obvious lack of leadership to do so, but he really shouldn't have to do that if Tomlin would be doing his job.

He's going to "talk to JuJu" about dancing on logos?  How can JuJu take Tomlin seriously if that's all over the NFL headlines?   No different than Antonio Brown recording him in the locker room.

Newsflash:  these players don't have any respect for Tomlin's authority.

this has been a problem, not sure if it's the generation we have today or the lack of discipline from the coach. Either way it's a fail and needs to be corrected.  This team is sinking

Tomlin isn’t a good leader? I read it all now. The man has never had a losing season despite some major injuries including last year having to try to win with two awful QBs after Ben injured his elbow.

Colbert & Tomlin are two of the best in the business.

As far as Ben goes, Father Time is undefeated but, you also have to consider that Peyton Manning won a super bowl with a weaker arm than Ben currently has with a similar offense and a dominant defense.

Pittsburgh has to become more balanced on offense. If they do that, they’ll start winning again and win next year, if Tomlin doesn’t force that of his offensive coordinator then they’re not going to be a true Super Bowl contender as currently constructed.

1) Tomlin and Colbert are really good. But Colbert slipped more.
2) Those Broncos also had an elite running game to go with Peyton.
3) Peyton wasn’t making the mental mistakes Ben is making.
