Safety Josh Robinson and defensive end, Ryan Russell have also been ruled out, and Ali Marpet as well as Robert Ayers are questionable with David and Ward.

Looks like more Godwin as a gunner on punts. Which probably means less of him on offense. That concussion must have been pretty bad for Robinson, unless he's got something else too.

Winning head coach Dirk Koetter, speaking from the desert, told SiriusXM NFL Radio that Lavonte David will play.

Safety T.J. Ward also will play, per Koetter.

Ali Marpet and Robert Ayers are sure things to play, Koetter said, despite being listed as questionable.

We need to create turnovers. David and Ward add some playmaking ability to the defense. It was painful to watch two rookie LB look dazed and confused last weeks game. Glanton did a poor job filling the gaps and at times over pursuit on the run. Beckwith was solid but didn't make nearly as many mistakes as our OLB's. Bucs will be sound on the front end for this match-up.

AD looks about done. But you've still gotta account for him. He might have another game or two left in him. With David/Ward back, that helps a lot.

You have the AD factor. But also, just guys able to make open field tackles when their covering a zone. They use Ellington a lot in the pass game and a guy like David will be able to sit him down and not allow YAC.
