CP3MVP
I’ve never been a fan of Cam but it would be interesting to see him at his athletic peak being coached by Andy Reid
SkippyX
McNabb was a horrific passer who sometimes made great throws. Dude routinely threw worm burners on basic NFL passes. He had serious fastball problems on touch passes. He was terrified of making throws into tight windows. He was a career 59% passer in the WCO. No it was not all on Pinkston, Thrash and Mitchell. He had TO until he ran him off instead of leading. He had DJ and Maclin at the end. He had talented guys like Reggie Brown from 05-07. Brian Westbrook was a fantastic pass catching back. He always had decent TEs in Chad Lewis, LJ Smith, and Brent Celek In 2006 McSlop was a 57% passer, Garcia took over for 6 games and was a 61.7% passer on the same team (an actual passer) Mcnabb had a strong arm, he was a great runner, he could buy time to make plays and he sometimes made magic. He was also a guy who won games with passer ratings of: 0.4 (Feely came in and was 80.2) 17-7 and the 7 was on a punt return 29.1 (The Westbrook punt return vs NY) 14-10 46.3 (rookie year vs DC, no worries) 50.9 in they Yes Virginia, there is a tie! game 13-13 51.2 (ye olde pickle juice game) 51.7 vs DC 35-28 McNabb had 38 net passing yards The Eagles got a kick return TD and ran for 190 (McNabb had 49) 52.9 vs DC 57.9 vs Dallas 59.8 vs Dallas 59.9 vs Tampa 60.0 vs NY 60.1 vs DC 61.3 vs Chicago 62.0 vs Dallas (12-7 win) 63.4 vs Dallas (13-7 win) and on and on He was a 44.8 passer in a 6-3 loss to Green Bay. Yeah, that's all on Thrash! 👀 McNabb would be the worst passer in the NFL for stretches that lasted a month sometimes. You saw him a bunch in 2004 and on some MNF highlight games. We saw him every single terrible game. Andy Reid, possibly the best QB talent judge in NFL History gladly traded him to a division rival at age 34.
