Carr even said in practice nelly runs routes at 110% and it shows in the game. Hr3 barely available for practice Ruggs was knows as a solid route runner at Alabama. Thus far in Vegas a third of his routes have been go routes. So they are not really giving him a lot to work with early on. Here was good breakdown from Ted Nguyen who is well respected p https://theathletic.com/1737388/2020/04/16/teds-film-room-ceedee-lamb-jerry-jeudy-or-henry-ruggs/ Quote There is a lot to like about Ruggs’ vertical speed and route running and a smart offensive coordinator will find ways to get him clean releases with tactics like motioning him into stack alignments. Carr can have a favorite WR in Nelson. But doesn't distract from the fact Ruggs should have some sort of a role on offense. Then got Covid then hurt like you say wash rinse repeat. You know carr gonna give waller at least 100 targets and he loves hunter now nelly. Hr3 looking like a permanent 3rd wheel Rn going forward. Imo he’s gotta earn targets now not gonna get force fed with the top 3 targets balling.

Yeah, I would've liked to see us get Ruggs involved more using him on screens, end arounds, etc. instead of only using him as a deep threat. Edwards too.
