The reason of wanting to get Sudfeld, a guy who has zero chance of ever starting, playing time over a ROOKIE 2nd rounder who’s expected to be competing for the starting job next year is beyond laughable. Maybe Doug didn't think we'd struggle with a Hobbled Alex Smith? Hurts might actually score more then 14pts in 3 QTs? It wouldn't be a close game? Pederson did for Sudfeld what he did for numerous other players. Gave him an opportunity to play after sitting all year in a covid season, knowing he'll never be a Eagle in 2021. Had we won, had he balled out, not one person would of said a word. Instead, whether the pressure got to him or not, he just sucked. Get over it.
