Solid Vikings option, I could see DE being the pick, that said, I'd almost prefer Wyatt Davis, put him at LG and I think we'd have a solid OL across the board with needing to replace Rieff in a year or so.

I would hope the Falcons would trade down in this situation. Because I'm hoping for Parsons or Sewell or Rousseau.

I would like a trade down as well but if we don't im ok with a top QB and letting him sit a year or 2 learning the new playbook while Ryan and julio try 1 last time.   If we don't take a QB then Sewell, Parson, and Surtain are my other top 5 choices and if we trade down to say 8 or 10 im ok with Gregory or even a Chase/Smith  im not thrilled with a WR but their talent is elite and it does allow us to move on from julio if we need to for Cap space without missing much of a beat.  It would be a bit of a luxury pick but trading down does give us more ammo and picks to allow us to go luxury if we chose to a little.

I really like Slater, but his height (or lack thereof) scares me a bit.  Would like the trade back option as well, but at 5 it's either Slater or Chase.

I agree. I would definitely trade back if we aren’t taking Chase in this situation.

Respectfully disagree. If you miss out on the generational talent that is Lawrence at QB, you take instead the generational OT prospect. Him and Becton would be the best young bookend combo I've maybe ever seen in my life.

O-line is just too much of a need. Chase is better, but fix the trenches.

The way that defense looked, you probably go front-seven with your first two picks, honestly.

You can get a very solid DE/pass-rushing type in the early 2nd. Not a Rousseau-level talent, but a legit 1st-round prospect.

Well, don't forget, Pierce, Hunter, and Barr all missed the season. I do agree that front-seven is a solid option, but OL is also a need, really UT, DE, OT, and OG are all very high  needs for the Vikings.
