Just caught up, man when Fields kept sliding I was thinking it's actually happening. Didn't expect the Bears of all teams to trade up given their GM/HC status but for the sake of next years #1 I wonder if it would have been worth the trade up for us, I guess time will tell.

A lot of reporters saying Fields was never in play for NE even he fell to #15, I guess we'll never know.

I wanted Jones initially, more so than Lance, Trask or any of the other day 2 guys. It was only the last few weeks when it looked like Fields was a possibility that my QB wish list changed. Just need to remember that to not feel deflated seeing that Chicago pick come in.

Ok  What is the next move?  I not sure at this point there are so many good players still on the board. My problem is the gap between 46 and 96.

How will they solve this problem. If they move down they may lose out on the WRs... EX R Moore,  if they don't, they lose out on all the other highly rated players.

They can move a 4th however what will they have to give up with the 4th and not create a gap in the lower rounds.

Forgot they could use a player such as Gilmore, Jackson, Sony or Winovich.

What I see is Rondale Moore would be Mac Jones, Jaylen Waddle. IMO Moore is the same type of player with similar skill level.  One of Mac Jones strength is the short pass. He throw a perfect ball hitting the receiver perfectly leading up the field.

However if they use that pick they don't have a shot at one of my favorite player in the draft, DT Alim McNeill.

Push comes to shove I take Moore.

ADDED   Don't be surprised if the next pick is Landon Dickerson. it just a hunch.

Moore has an extremely similar skillset to Jules. Its a major reason why I want him on this team.

In regards to the gap between 46 and 96, I'd package picks to move up. Can't remember who said it, but they have 10 picks in this draft but with all the FA additions, they dont have that much room on the roster. They could flex some of those into next years draft but they do need to start making moves.

I wonder how far into the 3rd they would be able to get with 2 of the 4th's.. that would certainly help with closing that gap in picks.

I would love one of the Moore's .. but corner is def a need to. More corners went in the 1st than I expected so maybe BB doesn't go in that direction and tries to stack the offense... but they could certainly look at CB/LB/OT instead of WR at 46.

I wouldn't be surprised if they go defense at 46 then grab someone like Eskridge in the 4th .. I'd love Elijah Moore on this team though, but I think he goes first 10 picks today
