diamondbull424 Posted January 3, 2021 Share Posted January 3, 2021 Good play there, Hollywood inside the slot just has too much speed and route ability to be stopped, also you can’t really press him. Getting more WRs on the field... that was always the solution to getting the run game going. Spread defenses out and force them to contend with Lamar in space or the receivers getting behind them overcompensating for Lamar in space. It’s how Petrino schemed it at Louisville, he just never had RBs as good as JKD, Gus, Ingram, and Hill to threaten defenses... otherwise Lamar could’ve probably elevated that squad into the playoffs. Like he both looked like he quit on the play, yet was frustrated... which is why I was confused.
