KingTitan 1,987
Great job to achieve this goal. I think if we said at the start of the season: AFC South Champs 11-5 record Derrick Henry runs for 2,000 yards. AJ tops 1,000 yards again with double digit TDs Corey Davis inches away from 1,000 yards Jonnu Smith with almost 10 TDS. We would have taken that without thinking twice.

And when we arrived here.... ohhhhhh that's why there were no mentions of defensive accomplishments.

It's been a successful season. Only one team is going to be happy at the end of the year. Try to enjoy this week and enjoy the game as much as possible, knowing it could be it for the year.
titans0021 2,944
Now that the regular season is over, I’ll take a minute to appreciate the fact that we’ve finished with a winning record for five straight years. As disappointing as the defense was this year, god it’s nice to be out of the dark ages.
Titans fan 617 531
I’m going to enjoy this for what it is because I don’t have a good feeling about next weekend and beyond Weird season but the Titans won the South that’s a big step in the process Titans went 5-1 in the division Titans sucked all year on D and still won the division Next years schedule is going to be real tough on paper Titans will need a similar 5-1 record if they want to repeat Titans biggest challenge now is retaining Arthur Smith, adding a legitimate DC, finding actual talent on defense and resigning the guys they want to resign
Daniel 1,993
So, the last time we won this many games, in the playoffs we faced....the Ravens... Crap.

Especially if we would've known we would be without Lewan for the majority of the season.
KingTitan 1,987
I have a post and then after Im going to be optimistic KingTitan until the game. This team had a great year. Full of good memories. Won the division. Set some records. But we aren't going to win the Super Bowl. It starts and ends with our defense. A defense that can point to 3 things as the reason for the downfall.  1. Dean Peas didn't run it back. With him, we at least are serviceable. 2. The obvious whiff on Beasley and Clowney 3. Our secondary being complete trash.  Hot take: If Byard plays like this half way through the year, I'd trade him or cut him after the next season. They looked decent for a half yesterday finally had Butler, Jackson, Vacarro, Byard and Fulton together. But Byard is so bad it just makes it seem like he shouldn't be out there. He is going full Wentz out there.  Maybe next season will be our year. Hire a DC and get the right pass rusher. There isn't nothing wrong with having a good year and a talented team. Packers have done it for years with Aaron Rodgers. Saints with Brees etc.... Sometimes it just doesn't hit your way. I can't see a scenario where we are magical in the playoffs. You need players to make awesome plays. Last year we had a defense as a whole make some plays and Henry was special. We might beat Baltimore but after that it's likely a wrap. Just wanted to get that off my chest. Proud of this team. Everyday I look at Youtube at highlights just to see them again. They are that enjoyable.  But we don't have the power on defense to contend. Our offense has to be superhuman just to compete and that's a tough ask. Mentally preparing for this to be the last game but cheering and hype to see them play!
