By the ref? Absolutely lol.

But that was happening all game on both sides.

This was not a both sides deal.

This was the NRC hit but allowing the refs to review it and then deciding to not call it a penalty.

There is 100% clear visual evidence of a fumble and a recovery.

The Bills players waited for him to get up on purpose so they could nail him.

Anything else is spin.

Ok.... nice talking to you.

Really worthy discussion.

sure thing

you're contradicting yourself so it's very confusing. You admit the plays aren't remotely the same (they weren't) but somehow still think the calls were arbitrary (they weren't). They were both consistent with reality.

Rivers played as well as he could have.  But the limits he has were on full display for the 2 min drill.  And on several deep balls.

He's a guy who's going to help a regular season team win 9-11 games.   But he's also not a guy who can bring a team back on his own arm talent lightning quick.  Before ppl point out the 2 comeback TD drives - they were set up with 40+ yards in running, with huge chunk plays.    That's why IND couldn't afford to get behind.  They almost pulled it off, but the reality is that when IND looks to their 2021 chances, if they want to be a decent team that is playoff-bound, they can stick it out with Rivers.   If they want to be a playoff team that can go deep in the playoffs - they need to upgrade the position.

The other area they can decide to fix - Reich's game management.   He should take a long hard look at his 1H game management - it ends up being the difference.   And that's no coincidence IMO.   In playoff games, margins are magnified - and Reich's 1st and goal playcalling for both drives in the 1H were seriously bad.   As was his decision to pass up the FG.    Ironic it's the difference.

As for BUF - their Achilles will always be facing teams who can run the ball and shorten the game.   It almost worked.  But full credit to Allen, he was a a baller (just don't always need to be the hero protecting a lead next time).    They would be well-served by facing PIT next week.

With 12 seconds you have to have one route over the middle as well in those situations and you tell everyone if it's caught over the middle EVERYONE sprints as soon as the ball is thrown.

How? How many seconds do you think it takes to complete a 15-20y throw in the middle of the field? Then the defender would make sure he was down with contact for a second at least, then all the fatties would need to sprint out of the field and the hardest part is the special teams, long snapper, kicker and holder would need to be on their spots and kick it without even aiming. That's not feasible.

it was random/lucky - they didn't "wait". They made a play on the ball instinctually, but were fractions of a second from touching him down. That wasn't intentional whatsoever.

That guy is a poor example of a colts fan. The majority of us realize the colts made too many mental mistakes and lost. Bills played well. Colts are close to being a yearly contender so they don't suck...

A lot of pieces to like going forward, for sure, but that offense was painful. Gotta find the next guy at QB rather than a stopgap that just doesn't have enough left.

Rooting for the Colts, I do think it was a fumble. It was close and I see why it stood but  mostly I just really don't like letting two plays fully complete before calling the play dead. That'd be like a pitcher throwing a strike and then the ump says actually we gave the batter time, we just didn't tell you till after you threw it.
