I think acting like those extra pounds didn't impact him is ridiculous. Do people remember him last year? He looked like an average athlete with no explosion. The opposite of his TCU days. It absolutely held him back. The injury made him noticeably slower, destroyed his 2020 season not the added muscle. That's just a easy excuse, crutch to fall back on as the quick fix to all of his issues. Doesn't mean significant interest. Atlanta fans get excited cause they see our first round (Miami) or potential first round capital (Indy). We aren't in a salary cap position to do something like this. Like you said it doesn't even line-up at all with our timeline. The quality of QB play that the Eagles had last year wasn't really conducive to getting the most out of a rookie WR. The casual fan is talking out of their a** if they think they can tell you Reagor or any other young players future success. Are we really comparing the Kerrigan signing.... a FA who cost 3 million dollars to bring in and nothing else.... to Julio Jones.... a signed Falcon who will take significant draft capital to acquire at a MUCH higher price.
