Only thing Reagor needs to do is stay healthy.  Don't give 2 💩's if it's at 185 or 205. Acting as though that extra 20 held him back is a joke.

He's just one of many on a very long list of derailed Rookie Eagle seasons.

It did make him obviously slower.

All those derailed seasons happened under Doug's watch. Just saying.

I think acting like those extra pounds didn't impact him is ridiculous. Do people remember him last year? He looked like an average athlete with no explosion. The opposite of his TCU days. It absolutely held him back. That doesn't mean him losing that weight will automatically make him a good player, but it should at least make him a good athlete again.

The injury made him noticeably slower, destroyed his 2020 season not the added muscle. That's just a easy excuse, crutch to fall back on as the quick fix to all of his issues.

As for the Rookie injury bug that's been going on for decades, not just with Doug.

I agree with you but the 20 pounds is pretty serious when he comes to his explosiveness

So with the Rams and other teams backing out of interest in Quintorris Lopez "Julio" Jones Jr., do you think the Eagles go with the trade post June 1 when the cap space is able to be made?

Sounds like the offer is the Indianapolis pick next year with maybe some added pick.

We aren't trading for Julio.

Julio Jones is 32.

Why would we trade for someone who's at the twilight of their career when we are best set up to compete in the future?

Eagles fans seeing reports of us "sniffing around Julio" and think it legitimately means we are gung-ho about making a trade happen. Roseman inquires about basically every player that is available. Doesn't mean significant interest.

Atlanta fans get excited cause they see our first round (Miami) or potential first round capital (Indy).

We aren't in a salary cap position to do something like this.

Like you said it doesn't even line-up at all with our timeline. It's a whole nothing burger, but in this dead period of the NFL calendar year reporters need as much to talk about as they can get.

Any talk of giving up on Reagor is ridiculous, IMO.  The quality of QB play that the Eagles had last year wasn't really conducive to getting the most out of a rookie WR. The casual fan is talking out of their a** if they think they can tell you Reagor or any other young players future success. I really like his skillset and hopefully the team does a better job of using him in the offense.

Ok, explain Ryan Kerrigan. Same ageish move on Roseman's part. Love the dismal on your part regardless of facts.

I wanted a full youth movement, but no, Howie always decides to add over the hill vets. So, why not do it again at a position of need? Who is your 3rd receiver? Why not make Hurts's job easier to see what he really has?

Sure, Julio's contract sucks, but so do the Eagles. So, why not? After Ertz gets cut post June 1, they will have the money btw.

Are we really comparing the Kerrigan signing.... a FA who cost 3 million dollars to bring in and nothing else.... to Julio Jones.... a signed Falcon who will take significant draft capital to acquire  at a MUCH higher price.

Some people just don't get it.
