With already having 2 3rd round picks in nexts years draft GM Eirepacker felt it was worth the draft capital to take a chance on a player of Hendersons potential. IRL: 4611 yards, 34 TD's, 14 INT's, 70% comp & 51 sacks Its fair to say Burrows had an amazing season, In the Wolfhounds Offence its likely we'd see a reduction in burrows ypa and explosive plays, however some of this would be countered with Rashawn Slater blocking Burrows blindside resulting in less sacks/pressures and a slightly lower Interception rate. I could see Burrow having a statline like below with the Wolfhounds this past season. 4000-4200 Yards, 30ish TD's, 10 Interceptions, 70% completion The Wolfhounds traded for Gardner Minshew early last season to back up Burrows, looking around the league im struggle to think of a better QB room. Minshew is a more than capable spot starter who could keep the offence rolling if Burrow ever needed to miss a game or 2. The Wolfhounds also have Anthony Gordon the PS squad, its a qb room were more than happy with going into the offseason with only the need for a camp arm to challenege Gordon needed. EirePacker Posted January 20, 2022 Author Share Posted January 20, 2022 The Wolfhounds finish the 2021 season with a 7-10 record, Burrows took a massive jump this season and looks like a top 5 NFL QB, but with a below average defense & key injuries to Hopkins, Conklin, Boyle amongst others the team wasn't quiet able to stack wins like Burrows IRL team. Mckinney wasnt central to the teams plans moving foward, and releasing him now provides him an oppertunity to cash in when FA begins.
