Has a franchise had a better history of running backs than the oilers/titans?

The Redskins could be up there with

John Riggins

Bobby Mitchell

Stephen Davis

Clinton Portis

Cliff Battles

Alfred Morris

Washington probably wouldn't even be in my top 10.

I don't know the exact order, but I do know which teams would be close to the top.

Oilers/Titans (CJ2K, Campbell, George, Henry)

Rams (Faulk, Dickerson, Jackson, Gurley)

Bears (Payton, Sayers, Nagurski, Forte)

Cowboys (Smith, Dorsett, Murray, Zeke)

Bills (OJ, Thomas, McCoy, Lynch)

Chiefs (Holmes, Johnson, Charles, Okoye)

Steelers (Bettis, Harris, Bell)

49ers (Gore, Perry, Craig)

Raiders (Allen, Jackson)

The Colts have had Eric Dickerson, Marshall Faulk, Edgerrin James, and kind of Frank Gore. Then there's all the old farts from the Baltimore days that I'm sure were great or whatever but I don't care about.

How dare you disrespect Lenny Moore like that.

I mean, it’s your top ten so I can’t really argue it but for me it’s definitely better than the Chiefs, Steelers, 49ers and Raiders. At least, for me that is.

I'd love to hear your reasoning for why John Riggins, Clinton Portis, and Stephen Davis is a better group than Priest Holmes, Larry Johnson, and Jamaal Charles.

Even the Giants are better than Washington for historical RBs. Tiki Barber, Rodney Hampton, Joe Morris, OJ Anderson, Brandon Jacobs, and if we are including flankers like Bobby Mitchell, Frank Gifford.

Lets see here....

Olandis Gary, Tatum Bell, Mike Anderson, Clinton Portis, Terrell Davis, Willis McGahee, Floyd Little, Phillip Lindsay, Reuben Droughns, CJ Anderson, Knowshon Moreno, Gaston Green, Bobby Humphrey, Sammy Winder, Otis Armstrong are a littany of guys that went over 1000 yards for us.

In terms of individual RBs that I consider among the best, we only have had Little and Davis.

Demarco Murray, Herschal Walker, Calvin Hill, Daryl Moose Johnston, Don Perkins, Dan Reeves

Some lesser knowns like Marion Barbarian, technically Eddie George, Duane Thomas

There is no one that can compete with us imo. We pretty much had an all pro caliber person most every year of our existence.
