Drained 548
When a character coach is hated by the players, that should be enough to replace him.

Everyone can see the problem in HOU besides the owner. KC had this problem years back with Scott Pioli. Fans eventually had to stage protests by flying Fire Pioli banners over the game and showing up in all black. You had dudes walking around with V for Vendetta masks on and like half the fans wearing all black the owner finally fired Pioli. Never seen anything like that before in Arrowhead. Since the Texans are a new team it's not likely they'd have the kind of rabid fanbase to do something like that though. Seems like most people just want to see Watson end up somewhere else. Would also say part of life is knowing your worth and knowing when management is leading you down a dead end. I’m usually not on the players side, but 100% with Watson. It should not be difficult to have a top notch locker room with the character of Watson at QB, the ownership just gets in the way

Doesn't have to like management, but there's nothing he can really do so it's best to just suck it up and deal with it. Edited 1 hour ago by biggie.

Houston’s credibility within their fan base and market is already shaky at best. They mess this up with Watson and their revenue, fan interest, etc is going to go down the toilet. Might as well move to a new city, you are going to have trouble getting any of those fans back on the bus
