Your owner is stupid.

No argument here.

Hopefully, he at least has financial advisors screaming point blank in his ears with megaphones that if he loses Watson, he will lose millions in net worth and probably revenue.

His paying customers are screaming this (#fireEasterby is the leading tag in Houston AFTER the James Harden trade) and his only Ring of Honor inductee is screaming this.

If Cal doesn't see it, he'll never see it. Which is my primary concern.

Wow.  That answer surprises me.  Knowing how you feel about BoB, that answer speaks volumes about Easterby!

Not set in stone, mind you - could go either way. But Watson was defending BoB as recently as this time last season, after the KC game. Watson wants nothing to do with Easterby.

That speaks volumes to me.

1) Very few players in the history of the NFL have earned even a small say in personnel decisions through the history of the NFL..and Watson is NOT among them.

2) HOWEVER...if you make the stupid to decision to tell Watson that he will have a say, and then you don't give him at least an opportunity to say something...that's messed up. That's dysfunctional.

And THAT is where they screwed up.
