Used smartly, FA is a good way to go from bad to average. Draft is how you go from Average to Great. Hit on drafted players it just has a bigger impact. I love these regression analysis that have been popping up lately. There appears to be some correlation but I don't know if there is true causation. Some of those teams below the would be regression line are historically bad teams. There are some surprises like the Bills, falcons and bears. Also best team in the AFC south for the last 3 years! Shouldn’t break the bank, is a reliable, consistent target and while older, should have a couple more good years in him as our #2 guy. Sign him, resign Jonnu and draft a guy to be our #3 with the potential to be our #2 when Jones begins to regress, and our offense will hopefully not take too big a step back (if it does). Would anyone want him back on a more affordable deal?
