David has to beat Goliath. How it should be so I’m down. But I swear if Bowles comes out playing soft zone rushing 3-4 the whole first half while Brees wrecks us I may just break my TV. Don’t be that dumb Todd!!

U forgot to put Lavonte as your first word to start the post.Β  I m sure it was just an oversight.Β  πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

Going need Davis to bring his A game and Bowles to let our guys do what we do best.Β

We’re going to have to get after Brees with new looks. Our pass rush wont hold up rushing 4. If the OL does not get wrecked this game will be a good one. Lets see how each coaches adjust round 3. Its the playoffs, there maybe new wrinkles each team hasnt seen before. If im Bowles you have to think about Edwards playing more. 3 safeties, 2 backers formations

If Bowles decides to come out again in the soft zone, 10 yard cushion looks, Brees is going to eat us alive...

If there was ever one game where we need the CB's to be playing more man and press coverage, this is it. Brees doesn't have the arm to beat you down the field anymore, but he'll pick you apart underneath and in the intermediate zones finding the soft spots...

Pressure and coverage looks are going to be the key for our defense...

Keys to the Game

Welcome back for this one Devin

Now go get emΒ

Bucs defensive coordinator Todd Bowles talks with then-rookie cornerback Jamel Dean in July at the AdventHealth Training Center.

PRESS COVERAGE plz for the love of everything holy

Brees will read our zones pre snap and if we arent playing man he'll get the ball out before our blitz can hit

plz Bowles ... just plz

Β

Bucs cornerback Carlton Davis (24) leads the NFL with 13 passes defended and is tied for the league lead with four interceptions.

Carlton we are going to need you to play one of your best games and contain Michael Thomas

lar

Ted Larsen? will he start with Cappa out? will we see Haeg? idk but whoever it is is going to be our biggest liability. We need an average outing from whoever it is.

Β

Bucs quarterback Tom Brady passes the ball against the Bears during the second half of Thursday's game in Chicago.

As mentioned , our O is straight clicking behind el Goat

clean it up in the redzone and we have a legit chance

i cant wait for this game

No one is β€œstopping” this offense at this point. If you beat them it was 35-31 shootoutΒ

Don't think anyone is saying we're going to stop them; it's always been about containment and limiting the scoring drives...

I think majority of Bucs fans expect the Saints to pile up the yards and for them to score, it's more a matter of can we hold a handful of their drives to FGs, or get a few key turnovers...

I don't think this game will be anything but a shootout on either side honestly...

Agreed, if Bucs win they score 30 plus and need a lot better first halfs then either game.Β  Bucs can t be behind by more then 1 score at halftime.Β  Of course, a lead would be great.

I’m talking about Tampa. Nobody is stopping the Bucs offense

Aaron Stinnie gets the start at RG. He’s a much bigger player than Larsen and completely unknown. I like the move too.Β

Β

Agreed, don't think he could be any worse than what we saw from Larsen in limited time...

At least we have a whole week to prepare and game plan with Stinnie written in...
