With Doug gone, that might be a different story.

I imagine it will be. I wouldn't be bullish on him turning it around because I really don't like the contract / personnel situation going on in Philly, but at least now I understand the idea of keeping him.

You fix Wentz or develop Hurts, nail that #6 pick, get Brooks, Johnson, and Dillard back and they could push for 10 wins.

  • Sanders is a stud at RB
  • Cox is a beast
  • Slay is a solid #1 CB
  • They nailed it in picking up Fulgham and Singleton.
  • Goedert is a solid #1 TE

This is not a low talent team.

They do have some serious cap wrangling to do.

  • DeSean Jackson will be gone.
  • Ertz could be traded (Jets?)

I hope Kelce plays another year but he's been considering retirement for a while.

Fulgham literally can't do anything against man coverage. Besxides Alshon, who will probably be leaving, none of our WR's can.

In some ways it's a good situation to come into.

Either Wentz is fixed in which case you have a QB, great! Or if he's not the answer (which wasn't your fault, he was damaged goods when you got here), you draft a guy in one or two years and extend the clock on when it's time to evaluate whether you're "the right guy."
