zappa13004
Lots of things will change from teams positions to player's stock. But it is fun... 1- Browns : Sam Darnold QB USC They passed on Wentz. Ouch They passed on Watson. Ouch They can't pass again, right ? 2- 49ers : Josh Rosen QB UCLA Not sure Cousins will leave DC. The Niners are in rebuilding mode so they can take a year or two with a QB who has lots of potential. 3- Giants : Orlando Brown OT Oklahoma They could choose to prepare the post Manning era or trying to improve the team ? They should try Flowers on the right or inside, try at least ! Easier to do it with a new left tackle in town. For now he's my #1 OT. 4- Chargers : Josh Allen QB Wyoming Preparing the future. Rivers can play one or two more years so Allen has great intangibles but not ready (all rookies are yeah, a bit more for him at this position). 5- Bears : Mike McGlinchey OT NOtre Dame A bit high ? We always see reaches on OTs years there's some good ones. Trubisky is mobile but a better protection would help with a guy able to man the right side or the left one. 6- Colts : Arden Key OLB LSU Still very early in the season but as Marlon Mack just showed nice things recently, i make them pass on Barkley. Shread and Simon, i like both of them but as #2 and #3. They absolutely need a #1 for years to come. 7- Cardinals : Quenton Nelson G Notre Dame Last time teams selected guards that high it didn't pan out well with Warmack as a Titan and Cooper as a ...Cardinal ! I don't think they'll give up yet on Humphries and Veldheer is on the right. Both are average at best though. Nelson looks like a future probowler so they could improve that unit that way. 8- Titans : Bradley Chubb DE NC St Both Orakpo and Morgan are 31 and both are under contract till 19 so that defense would benefit such a pass rusher in the rotation and then taking one starter spot for years to come. 9- Raiders : Saquon Barkley RB Penn St Lynch's experiment is meh for now. That team need to improve his front 7 but can't pass on a trio Carr-Cooper-Barkley ! 10- Cowboys : Derwin James S Florida St Some years Jerry Jones didn't take a flashy prospect. Athletic freak James isn't a gadget but a DB who can be used in various ways, Marinelli would agree. 11- Bengals : Minkah Fitzpatrick DB Alabama I don't think they'll give up on Ogbuehi-Fisher's duo for now. Marvin Lewis has an history drafting CBs on first round and that one is the perfect "modern one" with size and cover skills. 12- Browns via Texans : Calvin Ridley WR Alabama True #1 WR that offense lacks. 13- Saints : Harold Landry DE Boston College Keep building on the defense with a pass rush specialist. He'll probably contribute on 3rd down only early in his career but he has the talent to make differences with his speed. 14- Dolphins : Tarvarus McFadden CB Florida St Big corner, successor of Xavier Rhodes with the Seminoles. 15- Bucs : Austin Bryant DE Clemson Biggest need on defense is probably a CB as Grimes is not a young guy anymore and soon to be FA. But for now i do not see any CB worthing of that spot. Bryant is hyped and i really liked him when watching two Clemson's games. A counterpart opposite of Spence. 16- Redskins : Auden Tate WR Florida St Personnaly i'd keep building on the Dline with Wilkins but i think that team will sign Cousins on a long term contract. Gruden is an offensive mind and he knows Crowder, Doctson won't be enough. 17- Jets : Lamar Jackson QB Louisville It would be such a victory for the Jets to draft that low. Jackson has a very strong arm and he's elusive as a runner. He will be a gamble by a team. Considering what they have at the position the Jets could roll the dice. 18- Seahawks : Trey Adams OT Washington Odhiambo, Fant, Giacomini. They have to stop that even if Wilson can run. 19- Steelers : Bryce Love RB Stanford I guess Bell won't be back and even if a DB would look like more of a Steeler's pick, the fast Love paired with the strong Conner would allow Big Ben to still have a running game for the end of his great career. 20- Ravens : Christian Kirk WR TAM Kirk makes me think of Steve Smith Sr. 21- Jaguars : Luke Falk QB Washington St Mocked more in second round but that team have a ground game and a defense so what they need is a QB with accuracy, able to manage a game and Falk is better at it than Bortles. 22- Vikings : Iman Marshall CB USC Trey Waynes. Please. Marshall would upgrade the position, not to mention Newman is 39. 23- Lions : Christian Wilkins DT Clemson Ngata is done and Wilkins next to Robinson would be great. 24- Rams : Kevin Tolliver CB LSU They won't have money for everybody. Ogletree, Joyner, T.Johnson and of course Donald and the big contract he wants. Is Tolliver the answer ? He could be the #3 CB of that class or the #8 in April ? 25- Bills : Courtland Sutton WR SMU They could take Mason Rudolph or another QB but Taylor can be adequate and maybe better than that with more toys on offense, like a tall receiver. 26- Patriots : Connor Williams OT Texas Solder does not look good and he's in contract year. To protect the few years Brady will be under center is a priority. 27- Broncos : Daron Payne DT Alabama Domata isn't the future and Kyle, well. Payne can learn from the former Bengal and then man the middle of that defense. 28- Falcons : Vita Vea NT Washington Is Poe a one year solution ? Vea could replace him at a cheaper price without loosing much of production. 29- Panthers : Sam Hubbard DE Ohio St They love to build on the front seven and as Johnson and Peppers are aging, they could take the kind of big DE they like. 30- Eagles : James Washington WR Oklahoma St I guess they'll sign Jeffery long term but Wentz will still need a young buddy for years. 31- Packers : Jaire Alexander CB Louisville Randall had a great play versus the Cowboys but him and Rollins aren't good enough, House can't be the answer next to King. 32- Bills via Chiefs : Maurice Hurst DT Michigan Kyle Williams won't play forever. Hurst next to Dareus, it sounds good. Second round 1- Browns : A.Averett CB Alabama 2- 49ers : D.Pettis WR Washington 3- Giants : D.Ward CB Ohio St 4- Chargers : M.Allen S Penn St 5- Bears : E.St.Brown WR Notre Dame 6- Colts : R.Jones RB USC 7- Cardinals : M.Rudolph QB Oklahoma St 8- Titans : M.Thomas ILB Florida St 9- Raiders : M.Jefferson LB Texas 10- Cowboys : B.Price G Ohio St 11- Bengals : M.Rankin OT Miss St 12- Browns via Texans : D.Guice RB LSU 13- 49ers via Saints : W.Hernandez G UTEP 14- Dolphins : B.Smith G Auburn 15- Bucs : Q.Meeks CB Stanford 16- Redskins : D.Nnadi NT Florida St 17- Jets : S.Cobbs WR Indiana 18- Jets via Seahawks : J.Sweat OLB Florida St 19- Steelers : C.Thorson QB Northwestern 20- Ravens : M.Ivey OL Florida 21- Jaguars : C.Okorafor OT West Mich 22- Vikings : D.Jones DT Ohio St 23- Lions : J.Kelly RB Tennessee 24- Bills via Rams : P.Campbell WR Ohio St 25- Bills : T.Thompson DT Georgia 26- Patriots : R.Harrison S Alabama 27- Broncos : T.Edmunds LB Va Tech 28- Falcons : A.Watts S TAM 29- Panthers : H.Hurst TE South Carolina 30- Browns via Eagles : R.Smith LB Clemson 31- Packers : D.Armstrong OLB Kansas 32- Chiefs : T.Lewis OLB Ohio St
The Gnat
If you ask some Vikings fans, Waynes is terrible, the actual answer to that is that he hasn't been bad, hasn't been great, starting for his first full season. OL is a much bigger need as is UT, not a great pick for the Vikings.

Just watched him in week 5 and with Newman probable retirement i think they need to upgrade the position. No other guard worthing a 1st (for now) and they won't give up yet on Remmers and Reiff. Jaleel Johnson ? Maybe letting him at least a year to show if..
The Gnat
Don't think about it as giving up on Remmers/Reiff. One is going to move into an OG position. There is definite need for a long term player.

chargerbuckeye
49ers i think have something in Bethard. Pittsburgh is drafting a QB. My chargers run to the podium with Derwin James name, but they could trade up for an LA qb to put asses in seats because we struggle at that more than winning football games Colts would not pass on Barkley

They'd pass on Rosen for Beathard ? A safety at #3 ? A safety... Mason Rudolph could be the pick, probable him or Thorson will be available in the second. Barkley ! Wow he is very very good. To me it was him or a pass rusher. Key is good and guys like Ronald Jones, Derrius Guice or Royce Freeman will be there for them at the second round, one of them at least. LinderFournette
I think jags go with someone between Wilkins, Sutton, connor Williams. Wilkins is more bpa. Sutton could replace arob and or Lee. I think lee should bet let go in fa and i think arob will be atleast tagged. Connor Williams would allow the jags to let Parnell go whos average or start out at guard and kick out to tackle. Qb is a need but i think jags look at a vet option instead of a spread qb in round 1. I think id go Sutton

He's just too good. However if Key starts playing like he did last season, it makes a lot more sense.

Last year Packers fans were critical of a lot of mock drafts that had Green Bay drafting smaller corners, claiming the Packers prefer bigger defensive backs. And the draft showed they were right as the Packers drafted 6'3 Kevin King. Jaire Alexander is 5'11 192 lbs.

I feel the jags could get by with a guy like Rudolph, mayfield in round 2.
Jason_Bengal_Fl
We better see a LOT of improvement in Jake and Ced if they pass on a first round OT.
IDOG_det
DL is certainly a good target for the Lions, though I'm not sure Wilkins is a great fit for what they look for. Honestly there would be a decent chance they view him as a strong side DE in their scheme instead of viewing him as a DT. If they want to keep the run defense strong, Vita Vea or Da'Ron Payne would be more realistic targets. If they want a better pass rusher next to A'Shawn then I would think they would go after someone like Maurice Hurst before going for someone like Wilkins. Forge
I'm good with this as a 49er fan. If we don't land Cousins, I have to imagine that quarterback is the primary option in the draft.
