Now, just hire a young coach like Brady or Staley to a longterm deal. Trade Stafford and begin the process of a full rebuild.

By the time Rodgers retires/getting ready to retire, ideally you’ve built a playoff caliber, division winning team.

I'm with you but I don't see the Lions doing it this way

All of that doesn't matter unless they hit on a QB. They have to get 1 of the top 3 guys coming out this year to compete imo.

I have no idea who is or was. But wish him the best. Also, it’s gonna sound bad. But I kinda hate we’re getting compensated  for something that seems unethical. Shouldn’t be the case. We’re all equal baby! Wish peace and love.

Nine times outta ten when we hit big on a day 2 or day 3 pick Snead will tell you that Holmes scouted the guy.

Stafford is not getting traded and he shouldn’t be. The guy is a 32 yr old franchise QB that the team loves. Get outta here with that crap!

The Lions would be smart to trade him now. QB demand is through the roof, they're starting a new regime and will be rebuilding no matter what they want to call it, they desperately need draft capital to execute that rebuild, and Stafford's value will never be higher than it is now.

Most winning NFL franchises these days rely on young QBs on rookie deals who make it possible to spend on other areas of the team.

It would be completely stupid to trade Stafford. I don’t get Lions fans like you. Do you realize how hard it is to find a QB as good as Stafford? Not to mention Stafford has a good 5 years left and that’s an eternity in the NFL. It’s a moot point because Stafford isn’t getting traded.
