pwny
Currently, these are the players that could be let go this season. Which of them do we bring back? pwny
Herndon has to be the biggest no brainer, right?
.Buzz
I would say Sidney Jones, Tre Herndon, Keelan Cole, Cam Robinson, James O, Adam Gotsis, and Dawaune Smoot should all be looked at seriously to retain. Unless there's a clear cut better plan at LT, I'd say Cam, Sidney Jones, and Keelan are my top guys to bring back. Sidney showed legit CB2 potential but the health is a big question mark so $ should be fairly low.

I’m not bringing Keelan back I can get that same production from 4 or 5th round wideout in the draft. I’m good I don’t know why everyone is so enamored with Cole I highly doubt any of the guys on a 1-15 will be retained.. I’m sure the new regime has their own vision that doesn’t revolve around Caldwell’s selections. Outside of Herndon I’m not keeping nothing. I'm not tossing him aside just because he's had one of the leagues worst QB play since he walked into the league. If he leaves and goes to a place with legit QB play he's going to pop off. I think he has legit high end WR2 upside. He isn't likely going to break the bank either. We need veteran depth. We're not just going to turn the entire roster over. That happens gradually. So I definitely expect several of these names back.

And one of the things that Urban has spoken about is how you can’t do that; that you have to respect the players and roster that’s been built as you install your culture. I suppose we have differing opinions can a free agent technically be considered the core group if they aren’t under contract 🤨.. this is all going to be dependent on how they are viewed.. if it’s a player under contract I know I have to deal with them.. opposed to a free agent if I’m the GM that’s weight I didn’t create and unless I consider it an asset than I’d resign him I guess you’ll see what Coles worth truly is this off season.. I don’t expect him to be resigned or even offered. 🤷♂️ Edited January 18, 2021 by DuvalsKing

Duuuuuvaal
I think we definitely keep Gotsis, Herndon, Ogunbuwale, smoot, Herndon, and Shatley. Cam maybe but I don’t think they let him walk without a solid replacement plan.
