People really complaining about that flag?

Normally? No. After the stuff they have let go in the secondary (on both sides) all game, and onky throwing it once Bucs players started mouthing off for it? Yes.

Ref buckled under the pressure, simple as.

Still, Lafleur horrific fg decision is where the blame primarily lies, though.

That 4th down change of heart by Arians should exhibit A on why game management metrics matter.

As awful as King's play was, the willingess to trust Brady and the O on 4th and 3 from the opp 43 with 13 secs left could be a game changer.   Still a long ways to go with GB getting the ball, but can't underestimate how much game management matters when teams of similar skill / talent play each other.   Hats off to Arians & TB12 on that sequence.

And on the flip side, we have Lafleur going for 3 down 8, with the GB D needing to stop Brady & co - when it was Brady himself who stopped the O 2 of the 3 last drives, not the GB D.

As much as Arians did everything he could to max out the TAM O output - Lafleur took the ball out of A-Rod's hands and put it into the D's hands with 2:20 left.   Think about that.   That's just plain nuts.

That is remarkably inconsistent refereeing. Like stunningly. On both sides, they let that stuff go all game long, and then call that? That late only after Bucs players starting shouting for it? That's outrageous.

If they don't call it, it's likely caught for a 1st down. If they call it, it's a 1st down.

It was a blatant penalty. They had to call it.

Rodgers either scores on that 3rd down and or gets taken down at the 1 if he tucks it instead of throwing into double coverage. Then LaFleur decides to take the game out of his hands on 4th down.

Just an unbelievably disastrous sequence of plays there.

The PI call will outshine this, which is unfortunate. Rodgers not running it, and then the coach kicking a FG was just awful.
