Odell damn Beckham Jr I think the value will be low enough that it makes more sense to hang on to him. If we could get a WR burner and a defensive starter I'd be interested. Or just a stud on defense. Probably not happening unless the situation is right. Keeping OBJ pretty much lets you focus on the defense. No real holes on offense. anywhere from 4-7 holes on defense that need looked at.
Soko
Trade him to the Saints to be their #1 WR
thebestever6
This has to be one of the worst trades in history. Especially, when you consider how the wrs have been booming coming into the NFL last couple of years. Peppers was a nice safety and that dlineman was good New York drafted I believe. Really turned around their defense. And OBJ had that bad leg injury in New York. John Dorsey should never be a gm again. Diggs was at the peak of his powers and buffalo totally nailed how he would translate to their offense so that's apples to oranges. I just don't see a great his isn't this another loaded wr class? Pur it this way I don't think it's just bill o'brien's ineptness that made d hops trade value so low. The position is still valued but it's booming entering the league more than ever. SkippyX
His cap hit is 15.75 a year for 3 years with no dead cap if you cut him. He is 100% not worth that to Cleveland.

The giants asking for a 1st or 2nd for a player coming off a season ending injury is nuts its like driving a used car putting miles on it and selling it for more than what you got it after its been in an accident Edited January 18, 2021 by Vladimir L

I think they were just trying to offload him. Browns dont really NEED to get rid of him. Not saying they WILL get a 2nd for him, but I think a WR desperate team with alot of cap space might do it. Perhaps a team like the Jags? Lots of draft capital, lots of cap space and need more weapons for their incoming rookie QB. But youre right....3rd round value might be more realistic. If they couldnt get at least that, I dont even think they should trade him at all. Odell is worth more to them than anything less, and its not like they are struggling for cap space. Another option is a player for player swap. Maybe they could trade him for someone who can help their secondary.

Plus ODB has made it known he wants to play with Dak the last time he was up for trade. Edited January 18, 2021 by Matts4313

I remember calling him that for awhile too, and then there were several Giants fans oddly getting mad that people were calling him that instead of OBJ. It was weird.
pacman5252
I really don’t know what his trade value is right now. Considering his cap number and injury, I have a hard time seeing him get much more than a third.
MWil23
Coming off an injury with that cap hit and without his ok’d production? I’d say a 2nd or a third and a player. I’m not sure that the Browns trade him, but off loading that contract and using the money and pick to double up on defense makes sense.
