minutemancl
Queue the Snoop Dogg 'Who!?' gif. Kind of funny that they hired a Reich protege when they could have just had Reich himself.

49erurtaza
For what was left and who wanted to be interviewed I think he was the best option that was left. But man tough situation hopefully Wentz can be corrected.

I don't even think I saw his name as a potential candidate. This could be a great hire though. I thought the Colts offense played well this year, certainly a lot better than I was expecting going into the season. Not to mention I'm sure he's learned some stuff from Reich, so that connection could be helpful with trying to get Wentz back on track. Looks like Joe Brady is safe in Carolina. MWil23
I posted this in the other thread... 4 minutes ago, MWil23 said: So, the Eagles lose Frank Reich, Wentz falls apart, as does Pederson, and so their solution is to hire Frank Reich's offensive coordinator...?
minutemancl
Also, and this needs to be said, this hiring is obviously all about Wentz. Wentz essentially made this hire, as I have no doubts that Lurie and Roseman purposefully hired this guy because he was one of a few (or maybe the only one) who made it clear he would keep and try to fix Wentz. He's also another guy they can bully into making the position coaching and coorindator hires they want.
49erurtaza
So is the NFL going to put comp picks for teams to hire old coaches lol seems like teams are only hiring people in there late 30s now.
.Buzz
This is why they shouldn't have fired Doug this year imo. Just a very unattractive gig. Guess we'll see how it goes. Hope it works out.
agarcia34
Seems easier than ever to get a NFL HC job. Always about who you know and never about what u can bring to the table.
jrry32
I had never heard of this guy before this thread.
WizardHawk
What an awful situation to land in for your first head coaching opportunity.

rich homie
All the talk this year about a Colts' coordinator taking a head coach job this year was about Eberflus. Surprising that Sirianni is the guy that leaves but I guess they really want to placate Wentz?
