Eagles hire Nick Sirianni as Head Coach

If Duce was the candidate that most of this fan base thinks he is, he would've been either in high demand to be a HC/OC or he would've been hired as an OC by now. The only people who view Duce in such a light are the fans of this team.

Duce needs to climb the ladder in a slow and methodic way. Hiring him as the HC would be sort of jumping him in line just because he's a fan favorite.

He's just mad we didn't hire Joe Brady after only being a year removed from being a passing game coordinator at the college level.

Been in the nfl one year already has more responsibilities then a guy that’s been in a league for more than 7

I wouldn't rule out Duce maybe being OC, certainly far from a sure bet though. Sirianni is more intune with the Passing game, having Duce's knowledge of the running game could be a good balance.

Additionally, If Duce stays on staff does that mean Stoutland stays as well?

uhhhh, I don't think that means that at all. Don't really see how those two things correlate myself.

I wonder if he'll advocate for re-signing Ertz since he wants to run 2 TE's?
Hopefully he maximizes Miles Sanders in the 2nd half of games.

At one point they were working together with a lot of the run coordination.

But I think Stout very likely is staying with the Bama job filled by Marrone.

I was under the assumption that Stoutland was waiting to see who would be HC before he possibly goes back to Alabama. I thought he would've been more inclined to stay if Duce was in charge

That's the other thing. I wasn't sure if Marrone was actually taking that job or not
