2021 Coaching Staff - Who will Sirianni bring in?

Sounds like Nick can be emotional, so he probably needs an even keeled OC, like Kellen Moore, to level him out. We're not getting Kellen Moore, but probably somebody with his easy going temperment, rather than a Rah Rah guy like Sirianni.

Will be interesting what he chooses and who is calling plays.

Feel like they are two different paths. If he's calling plays then yeah probably best to get a Reich type to help him out and organize.
If the OC is doing it hope we just get someone innovative and willing to push.

All of it is interesting. Will Nick be as fiery a HC as he is a OC? Who the hell does he bring in at OC/DC/ST? Do we keep Stoutland? Duce? Will Nick be against an Ertz trade? Is a Wentz trade off the table now that we brought in Reich Jr? Or does this make trading Wentz to the Colts even easier now that we have a direct line of communication with our BFF HC's? Is Nick even allowed to start Hurts if he prefers him over Wentz? Does he get any say in draft picks?

I'm not sure Ertz can stay regardless...cap is just that bad.
Yeah the offensive side of the draft is one to watch, cause we know with a totally new defense the personnel staff will have to change to accommodate.
Sirianni having a good background with wideouts, can he flex and make them draft better there? Hope so.

DC - Dave Borgonzi or Brian Baker
OC - Jason Michael
WR coach - Reggie Wayne
DB coach - David Overstreet II

My guesses, although Wayne is a swing in the dark. Kinda hope we poach Wes Welker from the 49ers after hearing Brandon Aiyuk talk about him.

From the Athletic:

Quote

An outstanding coach,” Frank Reich said. “Very smart. Very detailed. Very methodical.

Walker said the speed Borgonzi demands on the practice field spills into Sundays. The Colts do everything fast, and it’s not by accident. Eberflus’ rush-and-cover scheme relies heavily on players getting off blocks and covering ground quickly.

It’s a must the linebackers can move.

“I doubt there are many units in the league that practice as fast as us,” Walker boasts. “We always joke with each other — if we make it through individual drills, the rest of practice gets easier. Everything’s all out and at top speed. He never lets up. I think he’d be a great defensive coordinator one day.

Also, he's a LB coach currently and done good work in Indy there, so you know he's gonna get the most out of that unit which would be nice.

And he comes from a team that's invested in the LB position between Leonard, Okereke and Walker being 2nd, 3rd and 5th round picks who contributed heavily right away.

That would quell some of the outrage of Duce "never getting a shot"... I guess.

probably lines up with the whole duce can't become head coach narrative because he would hold carson accountable. he was probably told he had to also baby carson and duce was like no thanks
