Lions and Stafford agree to part ways and will explore trades.

I could see Pittsburgh at 24 thinking they could plug him in to a team with a good D and some weapons.

Maybe they add Aaron Jones as well?

That's if they are sold on him.

I don't see Indy giving up #21.

He would just get killed on the Jets.

No way could the Saints at 28 afford him.

Good for them both. He did all he could, was relied on to throw it without any running game for a long time(sometimes due to injuries to their guys, they at least tried drafting:

Jahvid Best(hurt)

Ameer Abdullah(idk?)

Kerryon Johnson(hurt)

D'Andre Swift(should be good)

Stafford has played 165 games for Detroit.

he’s had a 100 yard rusher in 11 of those games.

that is not a typo. 11.

WFT is stupid enough to do with pick #19 but they have invested so much at QB recently for so little return that I doubt they do it.

(edit: Snyder is but Rivera is not)

There is rumors out there that San Fran is willing to part with #12, a 3rd this year and a 2nd year

I would be shocked.

NFL FOs see 1st round picks as possible stars under contract for cheap.

SF has nailed some of these picks.

We might look at the last 10 guys picked at 12 and say "Let's do this!"

I don't think good FOs work that way.

And I'd guarantee that he comes with an extension which means lower cap hit next year which allows the niners to pay guys like Trent williams

If Elway was still GM I would think that Denver was the favorite, especially appealing with a defensive HC to get an adjusted veteran.

If he got along with Patricia NE might have a slight brownie point.

SF if he wants to ring chase.

If the Cowboys aren't sold on Dak 100% I would think Stafford @20mil might be appealing v. Dak off injury @38mil or so, but not really sure about that one. Lot of support though in Zeke, Amari, Lamb, Gallup and a handful of OL guys if that's what he is looking for. Washington kinda makes sense as a dark horse as well, but I don't think that's the best fit for any of them other than maybe Dan Snyder getting a name guy at the top position.

A good, reliable QB is worth more.
