jebrick Posted January 30, 2021 Share Posted January 30, 2021 I would recommend restricting Cam if they allow it Cam Heyward has a roster bonus of $6 million due in March and a base salary of $4.5 million. They could reduce his base down to roughly $1 million, take the difference, add it to his roster bonus and pay it out to him as a signing bonus. That restructure will then be spread out over 4 years. So the end result is that it will free up a little over $7 million. Cam’s new cap hit would be $7.46 million or there about, down from $14.55 million.
