What could T Orlando Brown Jr. fetch in a trade?

yeah.. he seems to think he's Watson here

you play him at RT. If he doesn't want to play RT, then you try to move him for a good price. If you don't get a good price you tell him "too bad", you're going to play RT. If he refuses to play, then it only hurts him. His current contract doesn't give him the flexibility to actually sit out the season or anything

this whole "news" is nothing, thats a guy entering his 4th year 3rd round rookie contract, having played well replacing the starting LT for the Ravens so ofc he tries to maximise his value in contract talks, whether they are already under way or not.

I wouldn't rule out him playing out his contract and being the Ravens RT next year. But the news isn't nothing. I mean, Canfora is jumping the gun, but a proclamation by Brown Jr like that is notable. He is trying to maximize his value and the Ravens will be trying to maximize his value as an asset, so a trade is definitely a real possibility.

I'm not sure, but if they need a big RT to replace him with, they should take Trent Brown off the Raiders hand. Knowing their luck he'll stay healthy and be an all-pro

Trent Brown money is what like 15x Orlando Brown money? Like Trent Brown makes decent LT money, might as well pay Orlando Brown LT money if that's where they are at imo.

He's on 14m a year now with no dead cap

and Orlando Brown is like 900k or whatever a 3rd round rookie on the last year of their deal is and there is 3 LTs that make more than Trent (HOU, TB, ARI). Conklin set the other than Trent Brown RT market at 10mil/12mil last year in FA. Orlando Brown extension would almost certainly be cheaper than a Trent Brown trade.

This x100

Ronnie Stanley is coming off a fractured ankle with ligament damage he suffered in November. You don’t just jump at the opportunity to trade the guy who filled in at probowl level at LT last year and went to a probowl as a RT in 2019 just because he tweeted “i’m a left tackle”.

If you get a 1st round offer, you think about it. Anything less, you play him at RT next year or at LT heaven forbid Stanley isn’t ready to start the year or gets hurt again.

Not exactly like the Ravens are swimming in OT depth - our backups are 2020 3rd round pick Tyre Phillips and DJ Fluker if we resign him...

We hang on to Zeus unless the offer blows us away IMO

Yet Brown probably wants to be paid like an elite LT like Stanley. Looking at 20m...
