If he nails them then I'd feel better about him as an option for the Lions at 7, but right now I consider him a little bit of an unknown. Lots can change. Mentioned in Karnage's mock that he is very Brees like to me (size difference of course). If we do bypass any of the remaining big 4 Qbs at 7, I think we would need to take him prior to New England's pick. I am still firmly in the Lance at 7 camp though.. I like that dudes game. SimbaWho Posted January 30, 2021 Share Posted January 30, 2021 Not goin to get to nitpicky yet but Mac Jones that early seems generous. Who knows though. Not a fan of a lot of guys in the draft/FA but i'll wait till off-season workouts with draftees. Rankins is the only signing I'd hang my hate on here. Seems like you collected a bunch of low end WR's to fill out a roster vs build anything, hoping to find a guy. Just my opinion Good trades. Solid trades. Like a little more for Stafford but I'm greedy so, bird in hand is better than two in the bush right? Can't complain with those trades. Superduperman Posted January 30, 2021 Author Share Posted January 30, 2021 I admit it's very minimal information but the WRs are all guys I've watched Senior Bowl cutups on. Stevenson looks really fast, Palmer looks very fluid in routes, and Watkins has good height and seems to have long strider speed. I guess the overall point is that if you tag Golladay, there are a ton of WRs lower in the draft - yes including Shi Smith - who can fill out the WR corps and hopefully you hit on one or more becoming a nice player.
