Jeezla
What would you be willing to pay in a trade for an all-pro caliber off-ball LB still in the infancy of their prime, such as Leonard or Warner? Would you pay an early 1st? Mid 1st? Or do off-ball LB's just not move the needle enough in the modern NFL, unless it's a HOF talent like Kuechly or P Willis? Would the Colts or 49ers D's be noticeably worse without those guys if they were replaced by just average NFL starters?
Billy86
Early first, but onky for an absolute superstar with intangibles. Possibly would for Leonard but certainly would for Warner. ILB may not always be a premium position, but if you can have so wine just lock that entire part if the field down similar to how Kuechly/Wagner did in the 2010s it is a major boon and really benefits pretty much every other aspect of the defense. And fans if teams that have had a lack of anything there for an extended period (like Green Bay, though rookies Martin and Barnes look quite promising albeit not at a Leonard/Warner level) know just how much being properly poor there can be amubdo an entire defense. ASmithFan1010
I would not be okay with the 49ers trading Warner for a first.

Leonard is better than Warner tho.
wackywabbit
Yea, if you know they hit like Leonard or Warner you need a 1st+.
