It was a privilege to work with you. We all played great social games, but you had the most wins under your belt out of the three of us, and for that you deserved to make it to the final 2 as much as anybody in the game. Appreciate you staying loyal to the end.

Here's where we stand.  What is NOT going into consideration is which of you I'd rather take to the final two.  @swoosh and I have been working together longer, he's got a worse case of winning (no offense, Swoosh), and I know neither of you would take me.  So essentially, I have to make this choice based on against which of you I think I stand a better chance at beating in this final HoH competition. 

If it's sports or betting related, I lose no matter what.  I'm terrible at sports and betting and especially sports betting.  If, as I suspect, it's 20 questions, I'm afraid of both of you.  I think Shady has a better chance of beating me there since Australians speak mostly American while French speak less American.  So slight edge to Ted there.

I also have feelings to consider.  Shady is like the stereotypical nice guy who probably has like a billion skeletons in his closet.  Probably literal skeletons.  He's that nice where you just know there's something wrong with him. 

I haven't worked with Ted hardly at all. 

I can't let my heart get involved in this decision because in that case, Shady clearly stays. 

So we have to go to the scores and play the numbers.

I have 4 POV wins, 3 HOH wins. 

@Shady Slim has 1 HOH win.  Zero POV wins. 

@TedLavie has 2 POV wins, 2 HOH wins. 

Knowing full well I am going to regret this and that Shady is going to win this HOH, take Swoosh to the final 2 and win this whole darn thing, I am going to have to vote to evict Ted. 

Sorry, Ted.  You've played a hell of a game and that back and forth frenemy thing we had for a while was super fun.  I'd like to say that if you had reached out to me sooner things would have been different, but I don't think they would have been.  It was always coming to this final four regardless of whether or not we worked together, and the final four was where it was always going to diverge.

Final HOH comp part 1:

1- 100 game

No working together and no pming people to find out contents of the boxes

 

Before we get into the game, some info.

The Final HOH will be played in 3 parts. The winner of the first part advances to part 3, and the two losers will compete in part 2 to see who also advances to part 3.

And then Part 3 will be a 1 vs 1 to determine HOH winner

The Game:

The boxes that you selected contains a number between 1-100 (inclusive, repeats allowed).

I have also sent the contents to a 3rd party. Do not try to find this out.

 

Via PM, you will guess the number.

Once all PMs are in:

In thread, I will post each player's guess, and then post either HIGHER (which means the actual number is higher than their guess), LOWER (which means the actual number is lower than their guess), or CORRECT (player wins the first part of HOH)

In addition, instead of guessing, players can choose to swap numbers with a random player by PMing me SWAP. This swap will take place AFTER the HIGHER, LOWER,CORRECT results have been returned. Nobody will be notified who that player swapped with (not even the player himself). I will post that the particular player chose to SWAP.

There is no deadline for moves, because Im not going to punish people at this point if they may be unavailable for a day.

We are at the final 3, so this game will go on as long as it has to. Try your best to get your moves in a tinely way though

@Shady Slim @swoosh I absolutely loved playing with both of you. There wasn't a single moment where I was like "huh was is this guy thinking" and those moments usually happen a lot. Shady I knew already but it was the first time I worked with swoosh and I loved it.

 

@Outpost31no hard feelings. I knew where I stood, I knew what I had to do and I chose not to do it. I'm at peace with how I played this game and I wouldn't change a thing (or almost). I hope someday we can be day 1 allies in one of these. That'd be a killer duo

 

GL to all three of you. You all have a good case being a deserving winner. 

 

@Malfatron thanks for hosting a great game. Do you provide bulletproof vests for dead jury chat? I have a feeling @ET80 is waiting for me guns blazing hehe.

Also, God damnit, Ted.  You’re supposed to get all angry and insult me so I can feel like that time I watched someone speed through an intersection, ignoring my right of way, only to get t-boned at the next intersection.

Now I feel like that time I saw a mangled dying gopher and I had to smash its head in with a rock to put it out of its misery.
