i would note that per Vinny... Muse has been starting at ILB over Kwit in base so far

I'll change the starters if he starts game 1. It would be something if Muse actually became a solid starter after all the roast he took as a rookie. Kwit I see as an average starting MLB which is a big upgrade to that we have had. Back of my head always thought he could be a cut in 2022

if McCoy is healthy he should be starting over Jefferson. like im a fan of the Jefferson signing but i have no delusions of him being a big difference maker, but rather an above average rotational player

Talent wise, McCoy prolly the best man in the interior. Can he hold up, and did Father Time catch up to him after a year of no football.

Muse over Kwit in base at ILB ? Assuming base has 3 LBs,  who else is at LB and what positions? Littleton SLB , Morrow WLB ?

I don’t think so. I think it has been reported as: Muse SLB, Morrow MLB, Littleton WLB. But I might be wrong....

yeah, i misread Vinny's post. he said Muse had been getting starters reps in base, with Kwit being the odd guy out, so i assumed Muse was starting in Kwit's spot (ILB)... but Morrow has been manning the middle and Muse has been playing outside.

will say that in theory, Muse/Morrow/Littleton is a fast and rangy group

still hope we bring KJ Wright aboard. a Casey Hayward like presence, a guy still playing at a pretty high level who is intimately familiar with how Bradley likes things done. could be a hell of a mentor for Muse/Deablo

I said right after he was drafted that Muse should bulk up and be used as a SAM.  So im Glad to hear he's getting reps there.  That's the ideal spot for him.

Not sure Muse is going to be a traditional SAM, Deablo is similar in H/W/S so id think it’s more of a big nickel look? Both playing a hybrid S/LB position.

This makes me think we should have spent on a big run stopping DT.  If our starting LBs are Muse, Morrow, and Littleton get ready to watch teams go on 6-8 minute drives all day long as they just run it down our throats.  This defense will be throwing in the towel in the 3rd quarter.  We need pressure but can not give up on stopping the run.  I was already thinking we were going to have a tough time of it.

I just seen we signed Bo. I wanted him last year, he still is only 24. We now have 4 Alabama RBs, not sure why we don't sign TJ Yeldon lol. Richard should be in the hot seat. Between Bo, Ragas, Emmons all 3 are bigger physical backs that can profile nice as a RB3. Let's see if one can step up the next few weeks
