SkippyX Posted February 6, 2021 Share Posted February 6, 2021 I kind of like Wentz and Ertz to the Patriots for a 2022 #1, a 2021 #2, and a conditional 3-5 in 2022. This helps Philly with the cap and it shores up 2 positions for the Patriots. Patriots sign Golladay or Robinson, get their COVID squad back, and they are ready to roll. Wentz + Ertz hits them for 33.5 next year then Wentz goes to a low to mid 20s guy for 3 years. They keep Ertz if his 1 year tryout goes well. Philly gets to move on without Wentz and Ertz was leaving in 2022 anyway. Of course BB and McDaniels have to want Wentz and Ertz and I don't know that they do. I guess you can make the same deal with Indy or Chicago. You might get Foles back from Chicago because Wentz won't want him as a backup.
