How so?

Out of all the things they could have done, their first step is to break out baron zemo out of prison? And he’s just helping him like a good ol boy. We didn’t even get a backstab attempt. I would rather have someone else break him out, and make it seem like some sort of internal struggle.

Sharon leaves the CIA, because she’s on the run, and becomes a top art dealer in madripoor? That’s some character leap.

I was ok with the Zemo breakout, but yeah the Sharon situation was a big leap, as you said.

Maybe it's me but I don't think everything as it seems with Sharon. Especially when she said "we have a big problem, actually two" at the end. She's working for someone more powerful, so that's why she got to her position.

Who is Sharon? Is she a TV character? If she's from a movie, I have zero memory of which one.

Sharon Carter, niece of Peggy Carter. She was a shield agent who worked with Captain American in winter soldier and civil war.

Loved this episode. I'm glad they didn't spend an entire 40 minutes breaking Zemo out. And out the gate, he's already proving to be a compelling character with how cultured and street smart he is. He's going to turn later down the line, but I hope it's for something big as he could have easily bolted at various points earlier. Why he didn't yet, well he could also be just planting the manipulative seeds in the heroes like he did in Civil War. He's about that long game, and I love that.

As for Sharon Carter, I'm willing to allow her having become a high profile art dealer in the criminal underworld in 5 years time. She's still on the run, and at some point early probably realized she was going to have to hustle, and not be a 100% saint just to get by. Feels like the level of disbelief for that scenario fits in line with the logic that could pass in comic book world. So I'll let it slide. BTW, seeing her take out like 8 dudes was pretty dope.

Seems like perhaps the most obvious Skrull invader yet. Would think they have to be planting them in these shows and some of the movies somewhere if Secret Invasion is happening next year.

But could just be purely plot convenience too.

I’m sure he will backstab them. But why do it now when they’re still so useful? Zemo probably has a long game in mind.

As for Sharon, assuming she didn’t get snapped, it means she’s been on the run for 5 years. That’s a long enough time for something to happen.

The woman Steve should’ve wound up with but I digress...

It was fun seeing Zemo in his element but there’s no way Bucky even gets inside that prison much less access to see him!  And no one from the U.S. was alerted to this & investigated it until a couple days later when Walker shows up?  Breaking Zemo out of prison was even sillier but bringing in some new characters to help him escape would prolly take up too much time I guess.

Sharon’s storyline is very silly. I know Steve was on the run with Sam & Natasha through most of Infinity War but what about during Endgame?  Was he running counseling sessions on the run?  Sneaking into Avengers base to see Natasha?  If not, then I find it very hard to believe Steve didn’t clear Sharon’s name or at least try. Give us a throwaway line that he tried unsuccessfully or something.

Madripoor was fun to see & I was hoping for a cameo from The Hand but at least it’s part of the MCU now.

Torres as this utility infielder doing all these covert ops for Sam seems very unlikely considering he’s gotta have his own military duties. He’s running support for Sam’s flying escort from the ground and then he’s doing undercover work looking for Flag Smasher leads?  Who is this dude?
