To be totally fair (and I hate to cast doubts on my team ahead of time) I've faced the Mammoths, Penguins, and Kongs. I'd call that 1 average and 2 bad teams.

Ruskie at least played a top team and 2 average teams. His results should carry more weight at this point. Even a few of the 2-1 teams probably have been more impressive.

Don't get me wrong - I didn't choose the schedule and I won the games I should have won pretty comfortably. But it isn't reliable just yet

I think that's unfair to Hanoi, tbh

They are -3 point differential, had to play both Rio and Reykjavik already, and were reasonably close in both games

Their offense is pretty decent and their defense might look a little better once their schedule evens out a bit

i suppose... they do play SA next, so i expect them to make a big jump after that blowout win.

Rough start to season, D has disappointed, but optimistic about future w/ Herbert's already very good sim performance thus far while throwing to what is probably a bottom 5 NSFL receiving corp. 

 

Justin Herbert [3 GS]: 68/109 (62.39%, 100.52 Rating) for 835 yards, 6 touchdowns, 1 interception.

 

Not surprised by overall poor play. Took a long term approach with this draft and went after potential future keepers, rookies like Queen, Chinn and Higgins are surely much worse in sim than players at same position that could have been drafted in their spots but the hope is that they continue to be good IRL and become forces in the sim.

You lost 3 reasonably close games to very good teams

has to be one of the hardest strengths of schedule so far

your team is definitely set up well for the future, but don’t write off this season yet. Assuming your schedule gets easier I don’t think 9-10 wins is out of the question
