Quinnen Williams, #2, returned picks?

Russell Wilson and Bradley McDougald for Jamal Adams, Quinnen Williams and Zack Wilson/Justin Fields.

Hmmmm... might take a little bit more imo.

I couldn't agree more.  I actually like Russell Wilson but I have to say that he is not in Marino's league.  I'd also rank Favre comfortably ahead and Elway slightly ahead of him.  I wonder if there are a lot of people who are just looking at stat sheets and never even saw Marino, Elway, or early Favre play.  The stats of current quarterbacks are going to be better because the current rules are much more conducive to passing the ball.

You have to compare players in their era and what their peers were doing comparatively.

In 1920 Babe Ruth hit 54 HRs and 2nd was 19.

In 1921 it was 59 to 24.   That is an amazing accomplishment.

In 2020 half the league threw for over 4k yards.   In much of past that may have been just 1 or 2 guys.

No so impressive number when Goff is nearly at 4k and Rams were looking to bench him and then traded him away for a huge price.

That’s three first rd picks including two in the top-3 if you include Q.
