If things really are that bad, Wilson to the Texans for Watson (add in whatever else you think the Texans would get) would make some sense. We all know Wilson is a religious person and that seems to be the theme for the Texans....maybe hes the one QB who would be cool with it all, the rest of the team is another story

Yeah, the Texans OL is going to get him hit. Hard.

It's crazy how people have fallen head over heels for this obviously non-story, but have completely neglected the verified story that Seattle has no interest in trading Russell Wilson.

You can tell it is the offseason and the media folk need something to talk about.   We had a similar non-story about our QB that induced the team president, GM and HC to debunk the idea we were interested in trading our MVP QB.

Or at least that's according to NBC Sports' Chris Simms, who recently told ProFootballTalk the Cleveland Browns had discussions with Seattle in 2018 regarding a potential deal for Wilson, even going as far as offering the No. 1 pick in that year's draft.

The Browns contend the trade was discussed "conceptually," per PFT, but acknowledge privately the "discussion did indeed happen." The inclusion of a no-trade clause in Wilson's eventual big-money extension with Seattle, in fact, stemmed in part from "chatter regarding the potential trade to Cleveland," according to PFT's Mike Florio.

Really tired of hearing about these QBs that are handed hundreds of millions in a contract and suddenly want better blocking.

Most disgusting sense of entitlement in sports, I swear.

How can you feel like that?? A good QB wants to be able to strut his stuff, naturally. Peyton Manning complained.
Look at what happened to Andrew Luck, a damm good QB taken out of the game. What a shame! 🤔

I say Wilson is within his rights. And... the strong point to the Patriots right now is their OLine. hmmm... 😜 Yeah baby!!

Russell Wilson wants a better offensive line. I don't think he wants a trade yet. He's absolutely giving Seattle an Ultimatum to protect him. Seattle has neglected making the offensive line a priority target in the offseason. They better use their early picks on offensive linemen and try to sign a guy like Villanueva in Free agency

Seattle needs Wilson more than Wilson needs Seattle. He's been there a decade and the Seahawks haven't fixed the pass protection. He hasn't missed a game in the meantime. It's a legitimate gripe. Paying a good QB a boatload, a necessity in the league, doesn't mean it's a good idea to then half-*** on the offensive line who is protecting your most expensive investment.
