He argued it would help them with their mentality because Beverly has never been on a losing team and that he was already better than their current back ups. It got in to be a big thing. I could see why the Kings would do it, just don't see what the Clippers' benefit would be.
NYRaider
With the trade deadline only 3 days away some of the rumors that seem to be catching steam: • The Warriors are interested in Bogdan Bogdanovic • The Hawks are interested in Marcus Smart • The Heat are likely to trade Iggy in a big deal (maybe Dipo?) • Aaron Gordon has told Orlando that he would like to be traded • Miami and Philadelphia are both making a push for Kyle Lowry • Dallas is exploring a trade for Andre Drummond (likely to be bought out) • The Warriors are shopping Kelly Oubre • The Magic have explored an Oladipo trade • The Clippers, Hawks, Bulls, and Nuggets have all explored a Lonzo trade • The Clippers are also looking at Ricky Rubio and George Hill • Atlanta is unlikely to trade John Collins

Boston seems a little desperate to shake things up. A deal involving John Collins would add a different dynamic to a struggling Celtics team. I think part of the Celtics issue right now is Jay and Jay's games are very similar in that they like to create for themselves, attack the rim, and pull up threes. It makes our offense 1 dimensional because they are our only reliable scorers with Kemba being up and down lately. If a significant shake up is the answer, trading Jaylen at max value considering his steal of a contract would be the best way to do it in an effort to make the offense more dynamic. Jaylen would definitely get a ton back if traded. Something like this would work in terms of salaries. Atlanta receives: Jaylen Brown, Tristian Thompson Boston receives: John Collins, Clint Capela, Tony Snell, Cam Reddish
NYRaider
It's also insane that Chicago is trying to give up assets for Lonzo Ball (who's due for an extension) because they lack playmaking. When they could've taken Tyrese Haliburton (who's essentially the same player) at #4 and had him on a rookie contract.

No way they trade Brown though.

Troy Brown
I really don't see the Celtics trading a key piece. I think we'll see Grant Williams, Semi, Theis, or Thompson moved along with the TPE. Theis is gonna get a decent contract but it ain't gonna be from the Cs so as much as I love him, he's expendable.

Boston should've packaged all of those picks when they had the chance too. Ainge dropped the ball.

They did make a big trade. For Kyrie. It didn't work. I didn't mind taking Langford and #22 wasn't a valuable pick anyway. Pritchard and Nesmith hold the same timeline as the Cs core so I don't mind that either. People say that like there's deals that the Cs just didn't want to take because they love Romeo Langford lol

And traded for Kyrie and he was hurt as well and then both guys bolted out of town.
